Lol I need at least five replies ASAP cause I'm a horrible procrastinator and I need this for a project.

What show/s did you watch as a kid? How did these sows affect the way you behaved and the way you thought?

(Excluding Pokemon since this is a Pokemon board and that's the most likely answer. =p)

1) "The Simpsons" (made me think more complicated)
2) "King of the Hill" (same reason)
3) PBS Kids (intelligent)
4) "Reba" (same reason as 1 and 2)
5) "8 Simple Rules" (same reason)
6) ZOOM (made me more creative)

Bill Nye the Science Guy (instilled a sense of wonder regarding our natural world; encouraged me to pursue a career in science)
Zoboomafoo (again, increased my interest in science and biology, also had a theme song that still stays in my head today.. Me, and you, and Zoboomafoo! Come along and see what's new, doing the things that animals do... sounds creepy that way, but it was catchy)
Digimon (the first season was hideously cruel and dramatic, and helped to make my unfriendly-ish young self a bit more emotional)
Barney (the creative aspects of the show had me wish to be an artist for a living until I turned about 5 or so)

Hope I helped. :D

1) The Magic School Bus: it really helped ignite my interest in learning and helped me feel more comfortable in being 'the smart kid'
2) Animaniacs: I loved this show because of the humor, but I learned a lot from it. I can still sing the presidents in order!
3) Diagnosis Murder: A strange thing to grow up on, but I thought it was an amazing show with a great plot
4) Bill Nye the Science Guy: my parents rejoiced in the fact that my brother and I loved this show. It came on at 9:00, our bedtime, but my parents used it as a bargaining tool to be good throughout the day.
5) Wishbone: How I was exposed to much of literature. Even though science has always been my main love, Wishbone showed literature in such a way that I really appreciated it.

Hope that helped. If you need anymore elaborations, just let me know. For reference, I'm a 19 year old college sophomore.

(this is from my 13 year old sister, since you need more replies)

teletubbies - made me less afraid of vacuum cleaners
jackie chan adventures - i wanted to take karate really badly but my parents would never let me
dragontales - learned some spanish words which helped when i took spanish class in school

Transformers: Beast Wars
Digimon

Haha, there's so many cartoons I watched. I just can't recall them, it's been way too long.

Anyways, the shows kinda gave me an appreciation towards nature. It also inspired me to write and draw

YESS you guys are great, thanks so much 8D

Wow, I forgot about Wishbone. I was obsessed wih that show XD Bill Nye was good too.

Simpson's: It made me feel older... funny.
Rugrats: My sister watched it and she was my role model. and funny.
Clarrisa Explains it All: (See above)
The Amanda Show: IT was funny.
The Daily Show: My family watched it.

-Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego (and Time). The game shows, not the cartoon.
-Arthur. Can't believe no one mentioned this yet. Back in third or second grade I would watch it every day after coming home from school.
-Magic School Bus. (Funny think is when I started going on the Pokemon internet and heard people talking about Mewtwo Strikes Back as "MSB" I would think of Magic School Bus. Hah).
-Bill Nye the Science Guy...
-Lamb Chop's Play Along (lol) RIP Sheri

- Arthur. True it's getting stale now that I'm older, but it's quality kids TV.
- Thomas the Tank Engine. I was obsessed to an extremely scary age (ie 11) and I still don't mind watching the old ones, with Ringo Starr as the narrator. Nostalgia FTW.
- Tugs. I don't know if anyone here knows Tugs, but it's similar to Thomas except it's about boats and set in a port. Watching anything to do with this show now nearly makes me faint with nostalgia. It was also a lot darker than TttE and didn't talk down to kids as much, IIRC.
-The Nanny. I still watch it and collect the DVDs. One of the best sitcoms of the 90's.

Wow, wow, I guess some of these you mean really young kids, lol! This is what I remember:
Pre-schoolish:
* Ninja Turtles
* Sesame Street

* Reading Rainbow
* Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood
* Where in the world is Carmen Sandeigo?
* Goosebumps

Grade school:

* Bill Nye
* Authur
* Sonic the Animated Series

* X-men

Those are the main ones I remember

I liked these shows as a kid ^_^

- Rugrats
- I Love Lucy
- Are You Afraid of the Dark?
- Growing Pains
- All That
- Kenan & Kel
- Munsters
- Space Cases
- Dinosaurs
- Bobby's World

They made me more imaginative, I guess xP

Here are a few:
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? (from 1969)
Land of the Lost
Sesame Street
The Electric Company
Zoom
Family Ties
Silver Spoons
Wonder Woman
Schoolhouse Rock (not technically a show, though)
Super Friends
Dukes of Hazzard
Star Blazers
Sailor Moon

I'm sure I won't be able to recall everything precisely but these are ones that I know topped my list through age 12. I may go and update if I come across any other shows along memory lane. But you know those prior lists really help jog the mind so I'm going to list as many as I can recall.

It was a great childhood. Many shows I would watch with my grandmother at home and many more with my uncle who seemed to be a fan of the Marvel characters, though I didn't gravitate toward them as much. Most I came across on my own, with free time and nothing better to do (or we'll just say being dumped at a relatives and babysat by the tv all day :/ at least that's where I picked up most of my Nick and CN favs). Regardless, I loved them all for what they were worth, plain and simple. Good times.

Price is Right
Jeopardy
Wheel of Fortune

Power Rangers (No Rangers fans?)
TMNT
Captian Planet
Batman
Beast Wars
Mighty Max
Swat Katz

Ronin Warriors
Samurai Pizza Cats
Sailor Moon
DBZ

Animainiacs (Steven Spielberg knows his toons)
Various Warner Bros cartoons (you know, Bugs, Daffy, E. Fudd)
Scooby Doo (Various)
Smurfs
Flintstones
2 Stupid Dogs

Thomas
Magic School Bus
Arthur
Reading Rainbow
Sesame Street

Simpsons
Sliders
Land of the Lost
Sabrina The Teenage Witch

America's Funniest Home Videos
And I had this thing for Weather Reports..

Wild 'N Crazy Kids
(There were other Nick game shows, but I can't remember them right now)
Animorphs
Rugrats
Angry Beavers
Kablam!
Doug
Blue's Clues
All That (which led to)
Saturday Night Live

Dexter's Lab
Power Puff
Cow and Chicken

Going thorugh the list, most shows are scattered across the board but I think are what helped lead me to being quite well rounded early on.
