Which one has a better design?
Which one would win in a fight?
Which one is more useful?

I love both of these Pokemon, but I prefer Shuckle. The design really appeals to me, and the defensive stats are gigantic. It's a decent wall, especially in Sandstorm. Jumpluff has things it can do too, however, such as high speed and support moves such as Sleep Powder, Rage Powder (for doubles/triples), Leech Seed, Stun Spore, and more.

As for who would win in a fight, I dunno. Jumpluff don't generally carry Toxic, I don't think, but Leech Seed would be difficult for Shuckle to handle, especially since it can't Rest it away. But the rare Power Trick Shuckle could probably destroy Jumpluff. It really depends on the moveset, I guess.

Jumpluff all the way. It's probably my second favorite Johto Grass type after Meganium, and its support movepool is sexy. It really helped me out a lot during Colosseum too, which is how I grew fond of it. I tried training a Shuckle once, but it just wasn't my cup of tea. Still, it's a cute and quirky Pokemon, so bonus points for that. Then again, Jumpluff is cute and quirky too.

Anyway, Jumpluff gets my vote but I still respect Shuckle for being boss.

I like both Pokemon but probably Shuckle more. Jumpluff's gen II movepool I found undesirable; with having a cool type combo but not being able to learn any flying type moves.

Shuckle is just so unique and has great potential.

Which one has a better design? Jumpluff.
Which one would win in a fight? JUMPLUFF OBVIOUSLY. But really, it's hard to say. I'd go with Shuckle.
Which one is more useful? Shuckle.

I voted for Jumpluff though, because it's freakin' Jumpluff.

I personally like Jumpluff better because I've used it once and it was pretty epic as it was speedy and had some good moves. Tried training Shuckle but I found it really hard to train, that's just me though. So Jumpluff for me, but Shuckle is still a cool Pokemon.

I choose Jumpluff. It might have poor attacking power, but it's speed and surprisingly useful typing make it excellent for mind games. Shuckle is a neat idea for a Pokemon and the most extreme Pokemon of all-time, but it's much too difficult to use effectively. HP isn't everything, but Shuckle's is so low, even the highest defensive power in the game isn't enough to prevent it from fainting easily from two or three super effective hits, which is very disappointing to see.

It is strong if you train it my way.
If you mean spending EV points on attack stats and having an offense-based anture, that's not a good idea. Even with spending all those points on attack, his attack is still frankly nearly useless. It'd just be better to improve upon his strong points even more so. His role is not to be direct, but annoy the opponent before fainting.

That said, Power Trick Shuckle can be fun, if highly impractical.

Shuckle, mainly because I like the look. It isn't very good at being anything other than a wall.

Battle wise, Jumpluff. I can't stand defensive Pokémon with no attack. Going from appearance, Shuckle. it's cute and looks like it would make a good pet. And they should never ever be merged

Which one has a better design?
Shuckle
Which one would win in a fight?
Shuckle defense curl and rollout
Which one is more useful?
Shuckle its the best tank in the game

Design- I always liked Jumpluff's design more than Shuckle's.
Battlewise- It'd be hard for Jumpluff to win against defense like Shuckle's
Usefulness- Tried raising Shuckle. Didn't work. I always find faster Pokemon easier to deal with.
My vote goes to Jumpluff.
