About a week after I began using the Pokeradar to hunt for shinies, it occurred to me that regular Pokemon sprites weren't going to cut it if I wanted to represent all my shinies on a normal-sized banner.
So the idea of using icons came to me. The problem was that in the D/P games and every other game before it, shininess wasn't represented on the icon. In the games, when you select a Pokemon in the PC or your party, you won't know it's shiny until you look at its corresponding normal-sized sprite.
So I thought, "why not just recolor the icons shiny?" And that's what I did. Afterwards, it occurred to me that it would be useful if ALL of them were recolored that way. That sparked the most horrendously huge project I've ever set out to undertake. 9_9 I'm really no farther along than I was when I first made my banner, but I at least have a template to go on. If any of you would like to help me out by recoloring, I'd really appreciate it.
Pick your favorites and give it a go. If you'd like for me to begin with certain pokemon as I recolor the others, feel free to suggest them. Don't expect miracles though. I do this stuff in my free time at work, lol.
So without any further ado, here's the current version of the icondex. It's pretty huge. I had considered using the img tags, but that wouldn't be nice, since it'd make this thread take forever to load. xD
