I hope this isnt a stupid thing to ask but, how can I loose the side tweets. I dont have a twitter nor want one, and seeing a new tweet post staring at me every minute going "CLICK ON ME!"

Is there anyway to make it go away? Thanks

I also have the same question. It's really annoying to have the tweet bar over there with red updates.

Currently, there's no way to switch it off individually. We've been allowed to use what is a pre-release alpha, so it doesn't have all the functionality the final version will have, and there's no way for us to switch it off without switching it off for everyone.

There is however a way for you to make it not appear on your end. If you use a noscript addon of some description for any browser, simply forbid tweetboard.com and you won't see a thing.

Not all users may have the addon, if I do say so for those who don't. Would it just be easier to have a vote on whether or not to keep the function as a whole commmunity?

Awesome. I enabled the Add-On and it works splendidly. Thank you :)

Okay, we may have a way to do this, but it's going to take me several hours to do at minimum, and involves some heavy editing of templates. What we'll have is two copies of each skin, one with the Tweetboard, and one without. That's the best we can do. I'll set that up over the weekend.
