I have registered an account as to work on those dual-slot updates and to help around- but, the server didn't send me an email, so I can't verify with a password. If there is a delay in the email, then that makes sense, but if there isn't, then I have a problem. Thanks!
 
No, actually what I had meant was that I have not received the email telling me the ID so that I could make changes- and my email was correct; I checked my email in preferences. I was just wondering if this was a normal problem. If it has something to do with my email host- it's aim, so it should work...

I don't know what the problem is... I was hoping one of you could help me. Thanks!
 
trombonator: I don't know what BP means- but my Bulbapedia (if that's what you mean) is Hurristat, also.
 
Try logging in with your password, resend the confirmation email, and then try it.
 
Done- and I have waited for about 12 hours and it has still not appeared... the confirmation email is not sending :(
 
Okay, here. Create a new account called "hurristat2" and see if you can get the confirmation e-mail with that one. New users are signing up and editing, so perhaps it was a glitch for a short period of time.

If it doesn't work, I'll block the new account. If it does, then we'll go from there.
 
I hate this kind of problem. Happened to me twice last month. All you can really do is just get a different name and keep trying. Hopefully you'll get through.
 
Well, I tried getting a new one but I got this message:

Well, the idiot who's creating all these accounts is using the same offensive e-mail address over and over. The e-mail address blames a certain group of people, who shall remain nameless, for 9/11. Not sure what I'm thinking of will end this, but it may be worth a try...

(UPDATE: The offending e-mail address has finally been authenticated by an account that did vandal moves. Grawp might have finally shot himself...)
