Silly irrational things you do in the games

Things that have no strategic or gameplay advantage, but you do just because you want to.

Like me; I have an entire box full of Jigglypuff and Clefairy just because I love their freaky pinkness.

I also have two Dragonite and am working on evolving the other 7 Dratini because...I really really really like Dragonite.

I once had an entire team of Dittos just for shits and giggles. And if a pokemon's male and female forms are different, I'll catch both.

Oh, and searching for female Mr. Mimes. They actually exist. XD

I have huge boxes full of Pikachu and Poliwhirl just because I like them. XD

Back in the RSE days, whenever the Berry Glitch occured I would often have races to see how fast it took me to get from one side of the region to the other.

Back in the days of R/S, I had a Wynaut obsession. I hatched a Wynaut and gave it an Everstone, didn't remove the Everstone till it was level 100. And I still have that Wynaut today.

Also, I got to Mirage Island once in Ruby, and caught THREE HUNDRED WYNAUT.

Everytime I add a Pikachu on my team, I don't evolve it, even if he or her gets knocked out easy.
Also, I've never caught a female Machop... that's just... creepy..

Whenever I'm up on Mt. Silver, I run around Red in circles for the fun of it.
Also I stalk Pallet Town.

The only thing that comes to mind is that I like it when a pokemon hatches in a particular location, and I tend to go out of my way for that.

I rearrange my Pokémon's move order so it looks pretty in battle.
Whenever I save to close my DS or just need to go on the GTS, I make sure I am in Undella town. I like this town, I don't know why.

I am working on an Uber team for Colostadium Revolution BW. D8 One thing I always make sure of, is that Mewtwo and Darkrai are always standing next to each other. ALWAYS. It's like a new OTP of Pokemon for me. D8;

The only thing that comes to mind is that I like it when a pokemon hatches in a particular location, and I tend to go out of my way for that.

I feel the same way. Like if I'm hatching starters, I like to either hatch them in your home town (if that's where you get your original starter in the game) or the route that you get it on (like R/S/E/D/P/Pt) it makes it feel a little like a professor gotten starter than one that I just stuck in the daycare with a Ditto to get.

I do this too, I can't have two Pokemon on my team with the same colours.

i do that (kind of...) like this:

most powerful move first
second most powerful second
and so on

any "status only" moves:
burn first
poison second
paralysis third
freeze fourth
confusion fifth

opponent stat decreasing moves

my pokemon stat increasing moves

suicide moves (explosion / curse for ghosts / etc)

switching moves (u-turn / baton pass / etc)

Only silly, irrational thing I can think of is, when I've beaten all 8 gyms in Fr/Lg/G/S/C/Hg/Ss, I tend to go over to my hometown and let my character "visit" with their mother. It's weird, but... hey.

I have lots.

None of my team members can have the same types, so no repeated types.
None can be similar colours.
Three have to be four legged/flying.
Three have to be two legged.
if I decide to raise a Pokemon for my team that I could have had on my team ages ago, I'll restart.

My Trainer ID has to end in 0.

I can't have the same nature or character definition thing, Likes to eat etc.

I think I'm crazy :/

Whenever I hatch a new Dratini in HG to add to my collection of [INSERT TOO MANY HERE] dragons, I always try to hatch it at Dragon's Den. Or Blackthorn at the very least.

I evolved seven Eevee into each form, and kept one unevolved for no reason! Then, I used an AR to copy them each six, or seven times. FOR NO REASON!
