Hello. Long time reader (of Bulbapedia), first time... Bulbagarden forum posting. I'm fairly relaxed when it comes to Pokemon, and don't play it super seriously, but I'm vaguely aware of the more complex aspects of the game.
 
Hello! Well, I don't take Pokémon too seriously as well, but I like to explore the more complex mechanics, as they help expand the lifetime of the games and it's sorta fun too!

Anyhow, I hope you have fun here, which shouldn't be hard since people here are awesome. Fandoms aren't perfect, but this place is great!

I feel the same way. I just try to enjoy the game, not get competitive or anything.

Anyways, welcome to our humble forums. I'm sure you'll see a variety of different personalities here.
 
I agree, you just have to learn to have fun with it. It is just a game meant for enjoyment after all.
