In general, which do you find to be more difficult?
To me double battles are much more difficult because there has to go a lot more planning into the team. Like can the two leads cooperate? Does my team cover all the threats? etc. Single battles are pretty tough but I find doubles to be much more harder.

Hmm, Double Battles might be more difficult indeed. D: Which is why I dislike them. Twice as much to plan, to prepare for, and twice the doom should you be left with just one Pokemon...if there was one thing I disliked about Coliseum, it was the forced Double Battle everywhere.

I always thought Doubles Battles were tougher. With doubles, there's a lot more to focus on. I like Singles better, just one-on-one. Not always easier, but it is usually simpler.

Doubles can require more strategy, especially with moves like Earthquake and Surf...

Doubles.

Doubles. You have to be more careful when you use Surf (4th Gen only), Earthquake, Lava Plume and Discharge.

This should've been a poll, by the way.

I personally think double battles are harder... but i like them a lot better than single battles. Because it takes a lot of stategy, and i love having to plan things out.

This. My team was actually built to work around each other's moves, so Crobat and Luxray, for example, would work better together than just either 2 going solo.

I tend to build my team in a way the pokemon support each other. So it shines on double battles, while it isn't very efficient on normal ones.

I didn't think this type of thing needed a poll..but if a mod can add a poll, thanks.

wow, im the only one who likes double battles, for me its always been easier(dunno why) i guess because my second poke can always save the other from fainting by taking attacking pokemon out, singles have always been hard for me, but i guess i just suck as a trainer then

I see most of you despise Double Battles, but I myself have much more trouble with singles - in doubles, you can make one poke cooperate with the other but in singles if you are trapped with the wrong one[and are not able to switch for some reason] you are definitely gone for good. Doubles are naturally easier to me.

double battles require more strategy, but 2 pokémon on the field can cover a lot more, therefore I say that single battles are harder, peope just per sé want synenergy which isn't that nescesary.

I think the single battles are tougher. Sure, there is more to think about in a double battle, but you have more type coverage. Its good to have the extra support of a second poke. You can also switch in and out with a little extra security.

Personally I like double battles more. They were one of my favorite features in xD Gale of Darkness.

I have less trouble with single battles right now.

Back in Generation 3 I used to be pretty good at double but I probably lost my touch or something. I'm horrible with doubles now.

I prefer double battles. My Pokemon are arranged to support each other and I like the double damage for a sure KO. I just need to watch out for any all field effects like Surf,Earthquake, etc and faster Pokemon.

It depends on your personality.

Doubles require a solid stratagy. Once one is made and exicuted, you can't be stopped.

Singles requires flexibility and quick judgement. You can't predict the opponent as well.

In that case, now I understand why I do so much better in Doubles. With the Pokemon I have, they're kinda solid-structured. If one dies, the rest of the team will be kinda effected. So they cover eachother.

I think my record for an online Singles game was 4-0 in their favor. But I've won plenty of Doubles games.

Single battle in 3D games like Colloseum and XD would be cool but you know the single battles against Kanto E4 and Gary had tough pokes to deal with
