Sinnoh Battle Frontier

Well the Battle Frontier from the 3rd generation took place in Kanto in the anime, so I was thinking if they do the Battle Frontier for the 4th generation will it be set in Johto?
 
Maybe, maybe not. They may just go to the island in the games or skip it entirely and have Ash challenge the Elite 4 instead.

The writers never hinted another Battle Frontier arc in the anime, just because it happened last generation doesn't mean its going to happen again. They don't have to feature the BF in the anime.
 
I'm pretty sure the only reason the Houen Battle Frontier arc took place in Kanto was to squeeze out a little extra promotion for FireRed and LeafGreen. Why else would they have given Haruka another Kanto starter?

Thus, I suspect that a return to the Jouto region would only occur if that mysterious DS Gold and Silver remake really happened. And even though a lot of people want it and clamor for it and make up false release dates for it, Nintendo has no plans to do anything like that right now, so I wouldn't count on it.
 
There's only five Brains this generation, the same number of trainers Ash will have to battle if he takes the Elite Four challenge. Its very likely they'll take the Elite Four challenge and would probably do the same thing to it as they did with the Battle Frontier and have Ash travel around finding the trainers.
 
Travel around? I think that's not like the old battles Ash had with some of the E4. I think the E4 challenge would be an official challenge approved by Mr. Goodshow and he'll arranged everything for the match. Aaron trained for his match against Cynthia, so he must have known it for a while. Also, the match took place in a stadium and it got broadcasted in TV.
 
Maybe Ash will challenge the Battle Frontier and the Elite Four in Sinnoh we wont know until the end of the Sinnoh saga.

Thank you Mr Obvious for that insightful statement...

I think it depends on whether there will be any remakes because that was the reason for putting the Battle Frontier in Kanto so the same principle should apply now. If they make Gold&Silver Remakes for DS it means it is highly probable and if they don't then I am certain they will have it in Sinnoh.
 
probably the'll just go to the battle area, survival area and resort area, there the team galactic story will end (just like in Platinum) and will they meat up with Heatran, while Ash defeats the Brains. Come on, that sounds the most logical to happen.
 
No, I think Heatran would get to show up in Spear Pillar in the 12th movie. Stark Mountain should be a great training place for Ash's water Pokémon instead. Maybe they may even have Misty show up and enjoy the training paradise for water Pokémon together! My Floatzel is at LV58 before going to Stark Mountain, now, after training for half a day there, it's already at LV70! What a great place for training! I can see them spending 2-5 eps there training especially for his challenge against Bertha. Of course, that is only my assumption.

I think it'll stay in Sinnoh in a part of the region made specificly for the Battle Frointer, but that's just my two cents on the matter.
 
If the BF or Elite 4 isn't spread out across a region, I wonder what they're going to do with Dawn.

I honestly can't see Dawn sitting on the sidelines doing nothing as Ash challenges the Elite 4 or Battle Frontier.

The only reason it worked last gen is because they spread it across Kanto and May got to travel with him to do more Contests. If its all in one place this time, I really wonder how they're going to handle Dawn. Maybe she can compete in some stationary contest tournament?
 
I would like to see Dawn leaving the group in the E4/BF saga if Scott is right!
 
Its really unsure at this moment if there is even going to be Sinnoh Battle Frointer,and its even more uncertain if Battle Frointer in that case would take place in Johto.

However i can see it being in Johto if DS Gold and Silver remake is made,and i would certainly welcome this because this could be opportunity to see some older characters like Misty.Who knows maybe we could see her going to participate again in Whirl Cup,though chances for this are next to none.

Actually i consider E4 members being stronger than Frontier Brains.When you think about it whenever Ash battled against Elite Four member he lost miserably.Not to mention during the match against Agatha in Viridian City he used his most experienced pokemon Pikachu against Gengar and again lost.Besides am i the only one who noticed that Agatha didnt even battled with full force?If she did i doubt that match would last very long.

However when it comes to Frontier Brains during Battle Frointer Ash managed to beat all of them(yes he did used reserves,but he did used his best pokemon against Agatha aswell and despite that lost,which shows that none of his pokemon wouldnt manage to win).
Not to mention some of Frontier Brains during that mini saga were rather unimpressive in battle.

So yes i consider E4 members being on higher level than Frontier Brains.

If Whirl Cup is to appear again, I'd like to see whatever water Pokémon of Ash to KO'd Piplup quickly. That last match of Psyduck beating Totodile really angered me.
 
That would be cool to see Lapras once again. I guess the Orange Archipelago is not that large. I wonder what would happen if Ash and Snorlax came back to the Grapefruit Islands. That would be so funny.
 
IF there is a BF, it will probably follow the last one, and be set in Johto. No doubt that would please GSDS fans.
