Sketching in Class

Just something I started in Japanese and finished in Accounting. I colored it with pastels this morning.

Wow! For a sketch, this is really good! I think the whole sketchy and almost prehistoric look you have Charizard really brings out its more primal, animalistic side.

Thanks @Juliko. I drew the left arm first not really knowing what I was going for, but then I thought it might not look bad if I made it a Charizard

Wow, I really love this, especially the way you did the lines. The expressions and body language is also really animated and cool!
(On the other hand for some reason my school doodles usually end up looking like a 5th grader drew them.)

The coloring is really reminiscent to the old original watercolor looks form the official art of the pokemon! The linework makes it look like it has a lot of energy and activity! I'm very into it!

Wow! I really love that drawing of Charizard! It looks a little abstract, but in the best possible taste. Like Soul Eater, which is amazing. =) I've always tried to do that kinda thing, but at the moment I'm mostly just drawing manga girls for a fan fiction I'll never write. They're SO much easier to draw then guys.

This gave me some neat inspiration, so maybe I'll try drawing some more Charizard pics!
