Slayers Revolution licensed... but...

Good news that anime isn't completely dead in the states, but GinTama and Monster should get licensed soon as well.

2010 is quite a while, but that used to be the norm for anime series in the US though. Things like that don't help curb piracy, mainly because people who are fans of a show end up knowing that it has already been released, and have no wish to have to wait that long just to see it.

I hope that Crunchyroll's "Anime Membership" program works out, because it would be much more profitable for companies to make anime available legally soon after airing, and allowing the community to subtitle it.

What Sato said.

The attempt to fight piracy REALLY isn't helped by late releases like this.

I heard Funi was picking up Soul Eater, though... if they can get that out quickly I will be very grateful.

first Soul Eater release is Nov 17 2009 :p

The Slayers delay is for a digital distrubition, afaik. Though... I don't do digital distrobution, I like hard copies.

How does Soul Eater come out before Slayers? Isn't it newer?
