The last of the three works I'll be posting right away on the forum; this is an original piece of poetry...which is awkward, because I normally don't do poetry.

Everything I fight for...
All I live...all I breathe...
It's all slipping away.
Everyone I've known...slipping away.

Is there any hope? Hope...
Only to be doomed into eternity?
Everything is still.
I lay here...still.

Don't try to help.
Your effort is futile.
I've already slipped too far.
You cannot reach this far...

I am falling away...
Slipping away...
Falling through oblivion...
Nothing can save me.
Nobody will save me.
