Oh god I’m not ready to see that farewell.

Burnet and Kukui really served as his parents here and it shows. Screw Delia’s weird expressionless smiles during the league.

Bewear’s gonna be a sad one too.

I wonder how Rotom’s being handled from now on (I just remembered this thing exists)

Well, if it's over, I'm going to miss the Bewear rescuer, and Solgaleo. Well, next week, more emotional episode.

If the special episode comes on 10th November and not on English dub, this means will be the season finale of Sun and Moon: Ultra Legends

I have a doubt. Will there be a next episode preview (of the 1st episode of the new series) at the end of this final SM episode airing next week?

I'm not gonna really be sad to say goodbye to Kiawe, Lana, Mallow, and Sophocles, though Ash saying goodbye to Professor Kukui and Burnett is gonna be a sad goodbye. It is a little sad to say goodbye to Lillie, though I'll be very happy if this is goodbye Rotom Dex.

Magearna had potential but the fact they introduced it in episode 116 of 146 meant they had little time to do anything with it

The fact 17 episodes were spent away from the league didn't help

Oof, that family hug really got me

Seriously, that whole preview had me tearing up. I don't think I've actually teared up during a farewell episode since the end of OS. I for sure think this one is going to do me in. I have really enjoyed SM, and for me, the human characters were a big reason why. Watching them all say goodbye to one another is going to be pretty emotional.

Could've used the 77 episodes of Filler to introduce Guzma earlier, flesh out Team Skull, Aether Paradise, give the classmates more pokemon, flesh them out, evolve them, and train them for the league, but that'd have been the smart thing to do

Certainly would have made the series more enjoyable, Lillie could have caught an Alolan Sandslash, they could have got more Z-Crystals

In no fucking way would they have had time to develop 36 Pokemon.

The issue was putting the companions in the league, not them not having enough Pokemon. They needed characters to fill up tournament slots in the league, but the way the series was set up meant they couldn't just pull new characters out of their asses for the league either.

Guzma's entire plot line centered around the League, so I think it made sense to introduce him that late.
