In a few hours Smash is revealing the first teaser of the new anime series. Discuss it now.
 
Really? OH MY ARCEUS I MUST SEE IT. I just hope it isn't five seconds long or some bs like that.

.....excited again? This does not bode well. Fennekin sneezes and it's ear fur glows. Froakie can control it's neck bubbles.
 
The animation from that clip looks different somehow. I can't put my word on it, but it feels as though the coloration has become crisper or something like that.

Most of the clip showed Ash and Pikachu (no other companions around) arriving to Lumiose City through airplane, with Ash declaring that he is from Pallet Town, and Ash interacting with Professor Sycamore inside his laboratory. The Chespin was very hyperactive, Fennekin's ears started to glow, and Froakie was calm with bubbles foaming out of its neck. Chespin reacted with surprise when Froakie's white bubbles started to foam.
 
The starters all looked great in the clip.

Did it air??! Where can I watch it??
 
Froakie looks super cute, as does Chespin, but I can see Chespin going down the whole Oshawott route, so my bets are on Ash getting Chespin :p
I like the style! It looks a lot brighter and pretty nice
 
All they shown was Ash, Pikachu, Professor Sycamore and the three Kalos starters. Nothing to be disappointed about, as it's expected of what would happen. they're obviously weren't going to reveal any travelling companions as they want to keep everything a surprise, especially since XY is getting an international release. Pokemon Smash isn't too big on revealing anything important, as it's a fun, casual show.
 
The artwork in the preview reminds me more of the style used in the movies. The colors look warmer and are less blinding-neon-bright.
