Today's tier change has left RU vastly different than it was yesterday.

It lost the following Pokemon to UU:
199MS.png
460MMS.png
488MS.png
547MS.png
680MS.png
685MS.png
695MS.png

(Dragalge also moved up, but it was BL2 not RU)

These were some of the biggest, most influential/useful Pokemon in the tier previously.


In return for this loss RU gained these four:
230MS.png
560MS.png
330MS.png
715MS.png


Rain will most likely be popular with Kingdra (prolly broken) and Noivern (Hurricane spam in rain) dropping. Kabutops is also available to join forces with Kingdra!

So I'm wondering if anyone here plays RU or is planning on playing it now it's in this weird state of change? I'm probably going to jump in later tbh.
 
Well I'll bump this back up because there was another tier change today and RU gained some cool stuff: Sharpedo, Absol, Blastoise, Aerodactyl, Aggron and Medicham. (Also Sceptile, Lopunny, Altaria, Beedrill, Pinsir, but they have jumped to NU and prolly won't be relevant... maybe Sceptile will idk. Not like Ampharos will be that relevant in RU either though.)

I've been playing on the RU ladder tonight using a hyper offence team with Sash Lead Aerodactyl and LO Sharpedo. I only know hyper offence.. don't ask me to play anything else cos I can't lol. Apart from the ladder bugging out and not recording my record from a bunch of battles, so I have no idea what my record is/how many I've played, it's been pretty fun. Lead Aero is great and I've been using fully special Sharpedo cos I expect most people are expecting physical and it just beats stuff like Tangrowth which are obnoxious and live hit or two from physical Sharpedo. Plus I'm using it alongside Drapion so together they beat down Dark resists really easily. No idea if my team is considered "good" (pretty sure it's kinda gimmicky considering I'm using two Darks, two Electrics and two Flying lol) but whatever, I'm enjoying myself.

Also Magnet Rise Magneton trapping Mega Steelix in every other battle is too fun cos literally I've seen 1 Mega Banette, 1 Camerupt, 1 Glalie and every other Mega has been Steelix in about 15 games and I'm just sick of seeing it :|

If anyone is wondering my team is LO Sharpedo, Lum SD Drapion, Sash Lead Aero, LO Sigilyph, Eviolite Magnet Rise Magenton and TrickScarf Rotom (Ghost form). That's how far the bad teambuilding runs with me :D
