The Basics

One of the gang's favorite series is "Miracle Guardians", which is about five teens (and their pet Eevee Kuluri) who battle against the evil Madoras, who wants to take over the world and plunge it into an eternal night. Little do Ash and his friends know, the comic and the TV show they love so much is entirely real, in a universe paralell to the Pokeworld.

In the show's world (which is never explicitly named, leaving some Miracle Guardians fans to just call it Satenkari), many lands are united under the rule of the kind and wise Princess Calista, who rules from the land of Loysta. She is the one that sends out the Miracle Guardians to deal with whatever Madoras is plotting anywhere in the world. But when Madoras seals away the real Miracle Guardians and plots to take over the Pokeworld too, can Ash and co. master the powers of the Miracle Guardians and save both worlds?

About "Miracle Guardians"

The show's basic premise goes that the world of Satenkari (the fan's nickname for the world, as it is never explicitly named) magic only manifests in those that have great talent--of all the aspiring mages, the five mages with the strongest talent become Miracle Guardians--the defensive squadron sworn to keep the peace from those that would seek to destroy Satenkari's Miracle Light--an enchanted beacon that repels evil.

The Guardians, in addition to their magic, also have a special ability derived from their powers--they can be anything from super speed to predicting the future, depending on the Guardian.

But not everyone is a fan of the Guardians--the evil wizard known only as Madoras seeks to destroy the Miracle Light and plunge Satenkari and its eilekari ("other worlds") into an eternal night. It's up to the Miracle Guardians to stop him!

About Satenkari and Eilekari

Although the world of Miracle Guardians is understood to be one world despite the fact that many episodes and stories take place on worlds outside the realm of Loysta, these eilekari (other worlds) are usually A. home to an ally of Calista, or B. home to a race liberated from Madoras (and swore loyalty to Calista in gratitude), and therefore part of Satenkari (making it a world made up of worlds).

But when Eilekari is spelled with a capital letter, it takes on another meaning--worlds beyond Satenkari. Under this definition, the Pokeworld counts as an eilekari

Cast Profile: Fever

The leader of the group, Fever is suprisingly calm and level headed for a fire mage. However, he is known to clash with Kuluri on the best way to proceed during a mission and will go to any lengths to prove his point (unless you have a very thought out rebuttal). Despite being a bit stubbron and prone to acting before thinking, the other Guardians look up to him as a leader and teacher. When Madoras sealed him in the Unknown Dimension, his ring and his powers went to Ash

Attacks and abilities:

"Burning Ruby, Shine!"--Ash says this to become Fever. While in this form, he can run and jump at super speed--this is invoked by saying "Blazing Inferno"

Fire Star--Ash/Fever's basic attack, this sends flaming stars at the opponent

Ember Delusion--Ash/Fever's defensive move, it sprays a blast of embers and fog, buying time to escape

Mystic Flame--received from Princess Calista, this sends a stream of fire at the opponent

Magia de Fever--Ash/Fever's ultimate attack, can be used with the other Guardians. Together, they form the Guardian's ultimate attack, Rainbow Magia

Cast Profile: Zephyr

Zephyr's playful nature is a perfect cover for her role in the group--reconnaissance. With the ability to teleport at will, she is easily able to warp behind enemy lines and back again in the blink of an eye, all without Madoras having a clue she was there. In addition, she can also warp other people or items with the Wings of Time, which comes in handy for escaping crumbling towers and other death traps. Her quiet and methodical methods and calm demeanor have made her well liked among her fellow Guardians, making her the one to dispel any arguements. When Madoras sealed her away, her ring and powers went to May.

Attacks and abilities:

"Purple Wind, Shine!"--May says this to become Zephyr. While in this form, she can teleport at will and bring others by using the Wings of Time--to use them, "Wings of Time, take me/us to [destination]!" must be said. If she has no destination in mind, "Wings of Time, take us to safety!" will take her (and anyone else with her) to the safest possible place

Wing Blade--May/Zephyr's basic attack, this shoots a boomerang of air at the opponent

Aero Laser--May/Zephyr slams into the opponent from the air

Vitality Breeze--May/Zephyr's healing move, this covers the subject in a calm breeze that heals injuries and revives fallen allies

Feather Storm--received from Princess Calista, this envelopes the opponent in a whirlwind of feathers

Magia de Zephyr--May/Zephyr's ultimate attack, can be used with the other Guardians. Together, they form the Guardian's ultimate attack, Rainbow Magia

Cast Profile: Ceruliana

Ceruliana is the tank of the group, but not because of super strength. It is because of her ability to absorb any attack aimed at her, allowing her to potentially destroy a foe with their own powers. (and use an attack outside of her innate powers of ice and water) Proud and confident, she has clashed with Fever on many occassions (to the point where Zephyr usually breaks it up) While she does argue with Fever a lot, she actually does care about Fever and the other Guardians. When Madoras sealed her, her ring and powers went to Misty

Attacks and abilities:

"Rolling Sea, Shine!"--Misty says this to become Ceruliana. While in this form, she can absorb any move aimed at her, allowing her to fight with it. To do this, she only has to say "Absorb [attack name]!" There is no limit as to how many attacks she can absorb, but if she ever wants to discard one, she can say "Purge [attack name]!

Hydro Beam--Misty/Cerliana's basic water attack, shoots a spray of water at the opponent

Crystal Rain--Misty/Ceruliana's basic ice attack, rains ice pellets on the opponent

Water Wall--received from Princess Calista, this is Misty/Ceruliana's defensive move

Icy Fantasy--received from Princess Calista, this sends a wave of snow and sapphires at the opponent

Magia de Mer--Misty/Ceruliana's ultimate attack, can be used with the other Guardians. Together, they form the Guardian's ultimate attack, Rainbow Magia.

Cast Profile: Fioran

Fioran is the laid back and easygoing guardian, and the go-to peacemaker if Zephyr can't break it up. His zest for life and optimistic demeanor have led him to serve as the morale booster of the group. With the help of Colorata, an enchanted mic hidden in an earring, he can sing to damage Madoras' minions, heal his allies, or boost their powers, to name some effects. Enemies cannot harm him during his performances, as Colorata places him behind a shield that resembles a spotlight as he is singing, rendering him invincible as he performs. He can and does take charge when the situation requires it, as sometimes, music really does calm the savage minion. When Madoras sealed him, his ring and powers went to Brock.

Attacks and abilities:

"Emerald Voice, Shine!"--Brock says this to become Fioran. While in this form, he can sing both to heal and do damage through Colorata, an enchanted earring that conceals a headset mic. To call Colorata's mic, he simply says "Mezamaru" (Awaken). When finished performing, he tells Colorata "Yokuya" (Well done) to make the mic disappear. He cannot be harmed while performing (as the spotlight that appears when he summons the mic protects him from anything Madoras and his monsters throw at it).

Jeweled Blaster--Brock/Fioran's basic attack, this shoots a blast of jewels at an opponent (what jewel affects what type of damage is done)

Sonic Bane--Brock/Fioran unleashes a hypersonic scream that can shatter glass and glass-like materials--while humans and the other Guardians can't hear it (but they can see it in the form of green shock waves), to a monster it sounds like a horrible screech.

Sylvan Whip--received from Princess Calista, this lashes a monster with a whip made of flower petals

Magia de Fiore--Brock/Fioran's ultimate attack, can be used with the other Guardians. Together, they form the Guardian's ultimate attack, Rainbow Magia

Cast Profile: Lumina

Gentle and softspoken, Lumina is the intelligent Guardian, thanks to her ability of enhanced vision. With it, she can see things that a normal human can't, such as in the dark, through walls, and past magical cloaks, among other things. Armed with this info, the other Guardians can have an idea of what they're up against, and can plan a strategy accordingly. She can be a little aloof at first, but once you have her trust, you have a friend for life. When Madoras sealed her away, her ring and powers went to Iris.

Attacks and abbilities:

"Topaz Spark, Shine!"--Iris says this to become Lumina. While in this form, she can see things a normal human can't (i.e. night vision, X-ray vision, into the future, etc.) This is invoked by saying "Lightning Eye", causing her eyes to gain a yellow aura. Saying "Dissipare" (Dispel) will dispel the aura, returning her eyes to normal. Lightning Eye is context sensitive, so it will become night vision if she is in the dark, X-ray vision if she's looking at a wall, and so on

Lumina Pulse--Iris/Lumina's basic attack, this fires a small lightning bolt that homes in on an opponent

Lumina Flash--Iris/Lumina's defensive move--this blinds an opponent and lowers accuracy

Lumina Spark--received from Princess Calista, this generates a multicolored spark that paralyzes the opponent

Lumina Lash--creates a whip of lightning that shocks anything it touches. Lumina can also use it to latch onto something (the lightning doesn't harm her or the other Guardians, so they can climb on it safely)

Magia de Lumina--Iris/Lumina's ultimate attack, can be used with the other Guardians. Together, they form the Guardian's ultimate attack, Rainbow Magia
