OK, the titles can be right, but Torkoal evolving?!. Give me a break!!.

Uh okay well I'm severely disappointed that there is the Snowpoint gym within ten episodes as the the last gym battle, which was ten episodes within that last one.

They're rushin' away to compensate now, I guess.
 
I like the sound of the Galactic episodes. Both Nando and Jun (apparently Barry?) coming to help out would be pretty cool. It seems strange for Ash to call on his Torkoal, but there must be some explanation for this. ...If this is true that is.
 
I'll be taking the tried-and-true wait-and-see approach to this. Granted, it will be interesting to see if that 'zine get 2 for 2.
 
Yeah, we still don't know if this is just a photoshop (lack of other screens of the same "magazine") or if it's the real deal. I'm not gonna jump the gun here, I'll also take that wait and approach route. Torkoal evo and Nando (of all people) returning to fight TG just sounds too made up to be true at this point.
 
The Torkoal evo strongly makes me think this is fake. You'd think we'd have it revealed somehow otherwise.

Likewise what is the point of Chimchar if Torkoal returns?
 
Normally, I'd be all over you guys with Torkoal's evo and say it's outright fake.

But considering that we've been duped in the past (Lava Badge anyone?) I'll hold off until we actually have something to make this correct.
 
well, I am just going to wait and see on this one. But it would be nice to see Torkoal again, but I doubt their might be an evolution, but who knows, there is not much gyms left for Ash to battle and beat now is there? Sunnyshore, snowpoint.

Actually, in the game, the 5th, 6th, and 7th occur in relatively quick succession. Blame the game designers for not being good at pacing.

I'm doubting the Torkoal evo. It looks like Torkoal's silhouette too. I'll wait and see as well.
 
We were analyzing this last night in the IRC Channel...and we think it's fake.
 
*sigh* ....the mind of people! Why of course its Fake! Ash oaks one oh his pokemon, calls in torkoal and evolves it. Even farfetched is laughing!!!
 
I actually could believe about Nando considering the Eterna/Adament Orb events but Torkoal...well it's pretty skeptical. Although I like Torkoal, it feels very odd right now to have a random non-Sinnoh pokemon get recalled when Ash's other pokemon are good enough to battle. I don't know, the whole Torkoal thing is just weird to me and I have my doubts about it.

This makes me weep. I simply don't understand why people are treating this as if it's true...there's no proof this is even real.

Lets look at the facts.

1. The image of Candice has white marks around her. This is from a crappy extraction job in Photoshop.

2. The text box with the titles isn't aligned properly. It's too close to the left edge.

3. "Pokemon DP" isn't the name of the series.

4. Why would the "article" say Torkoal is coming back, and then black it out and put a question mark on it?

5. Random Meditite much?

6. Since it's only a shot of a section of a page, that makes it less likely to be legitimate. It's really, really easy to make a page in Photoshop.
 
If Torkoal is evolving, why did they shade out a picture of Torkoal rather than its evolution? If that is the shadow of its evolution then they've gone back to the days of Poliwhirl.

Also all the Pokemon there look like the Sugimori artwork, why not use some Anime screenshots?

Oh yeah, and the fact that Ash said he was going to go through this journey not relying on his old Pokemon.

K-Zone's next issue isn't even out yet, so this isn't even from the same source. I say it's fake, especially since we would've heard about a new pokemon before now. They're not just going to reveal a new pokemon out of nowhere on the show and Satoshi isn't going to Oak Hikozaru.
 
This might be an early scan of k-zone hohoho. So yeah you8 guys can false flame it al you want im dubbing it real. This thing surely will split a lot of forums in the middle.
 
That crappily extracted art of Candice among other things (Freaking Torkoal?! When Ash has Chimchar?) leads me to believe this is fake. Very fake.

But of course DP has been totally messed up and unpredictable so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
 
There's a fine line between legitimacy and idiocy in a situation like this.
