So how strict is TPCi when it comes to censorship?

We all know how over sensitive 4Kids are when it comes to Guns, slaps and death reference like the word kill, so how does TPCi handle the censorship and how much do they keep in?

The censorship is pretty much non-existent in the TPCI dub. There are some dialogue rewrites / mistranslations and the odd edit here and there (that Boss Fantasy missing from that one DP episode, Lenora's apron), but for the most part the footage in the dub is uncut.

To be fair, the Japanese version is a lot more tame than it was back when 4Kids ran things so there's not as much to censor in the first place.

Don't forget that the writers in Japan invented an entire character (Tracey) for the dub audience. At this point, they pretty much know what to expect and what the standards are.

Not nearly as bad as 4Kids. Seen a bunch of stuff they didn't touch that 4Kids would've altered (I shudder to think how they would've ruined Hunter J. Hell, the producers wouldn't have had to cajones to use her in the first place if they were still in charge! :scared:)

However, as been said, there's not much to edit in the first place BECAUSE of 4Kids meddling. Vicious cycle.
