So I can only change my username once?

What if you're like me and want to change your username back to your old one? I only renamed myself Piecheese10 so I could use a cool avatar somebody did for me on another site, but now I want to go back to being Sectoid.

I've changed lots. I became:

LucarioAura - AuraSphere - Chao-der - The Amazing Mr. L

I became Chao-der 3 days after AuraSphere. That's not so long.

To expand, you do have to wait a few days, and can change you name an unlimited number of times. As a warning, you can't change back to your original username until you've changed it five other times.

If you're really impatient, you can ask an admin to change your name back. Satoshi-kun is always up to it.

You would have to change it three more times to get to your original username and four to get back to this one. It's a weird vBulletin limit.

Thats not the usual case in all of vBulletin, thats just something Bulbagarden implemented during the "Team rocket takeover" event, to prevent normal users from stealing usernames of the Admins/mods

These are actually two separate issues. One is the fact that my username and the usernames of other admins and mods are on the blacklist. Even if we change our names temporarily (for an event, say,) you can't steal our names. Another issue is the fact that we don't want people switching back and forth between names all the time. And so we make you change names 5 times before getting your original one back. But if there was a mistake or you're really unhappy, you can go to an admin (like me; bold italics names are admins) and we can circumvent those rules.
