a vicious larvatar its defeated.things happen and we are introduced to the Elms.Callum battles Lyra Elm and then leaves for the league his sisters start there journey and his mom is going to hoenn to meet old family and friends. on the way he stops at an island and meets Agatha she helps trainers traveling between regions we meet Toby callum's new friend they leave for the league. at victory road we find out there have been attacks on trainers and one person was killed

Prologue
I'll make this short and simple this story contains harsh language and Gory scenes ,don't like it that then then quit reading.
My Name is Callum birch.Dose the name sound familiar? well it might my uncle Jonathan Birch is a well known professor,You could say he is the Professor Oak of Hoenn and if you don't know what that is you might as well lived on top of Mt.Silver. I'm going to make this short and sweet cause I'm sure you wanna read ahead anyway. I was born and Raised in Hoenn My dad was a professor there working with my Uncle,Experiment goes wrong my dad dies one year later my mom and my two sisters and i (who i'll introduce soon ) move to new bark town we lived there for 4 years and i decided to start my Jhoto journey a year goes by i beat the gym leaders of Jhoto and our story starts at my house in new bark after coming home....
Chapter 1: Old and new bark town
*BEEP BEEP BEEP* My poke gear went off like its been doing for over a year it was a bright and sunny outside and windy like it always was in New Bark,I looked at the familiar surroundings the posters of different gym leaders on the wall and the original elite four,I got up and looked in the mirror i have not shaved in a few days and some stubble was setting in, my brown hair dangled and the Broad shoulders i was never use to stood out more in this light i got dressed with the usual blue and purple jacket and blue jeans that(thank god)were clean thanks to my mom and speaking of my mom(Susan) i could smell her cooking it had been a while since i had her homemade food,I walked down the steps and was greeted by her always happy face.
"Morning dear,Have a seat your sisters will be down soon to eat its a big day for all of us, I've made bacon and eggs your favorite"
She said in her sweet voice with her light brown hair waving while she walked i zoned out, today was a really big day my sisters Jessica and Sara were starting there journey in jhoto,i was on my way to fight the elite four and my mom was taking a 2 week trip to visit my uncle, cousins and friends in hoenn.I was brought back to reality by something nudging my arm startled i jumped just to see my moms arcanine Arcy wanting some attention i pat his head for a moment and he began to stare intently at a spot across the table within 4 seconds a purple aura appeared and My twin sisters Jessica and Sara and Jessica's Gardevoir,Valerie appeared from what seemed like nothing
"Thanks Val" Jess said returning her Pokemon
"do you really have to Teleport everywhere?" I asked
"Do you really have to Fly everywhere on Toga" Sara said with a smirk on her face
She had me beat there.
"Morning dears are we hungry?" My mom said bringing in 2 plates and the other 2 being carried by her Blissy ,Bebe interrupting our constant arguing
"bliss bli" Bebe said placing the most delicious looking plate of bacon and eggs in front of me
"Thanks" i replied grabbing my fork She smiled and returned to the kitchen to do dishes
"Wait,Callum aren't you going to feed your Pokemon? " Jess Asked
"ha ha there a little big for the house Jess,Remember, I'll bring them out when i'm done"
"ha ha Aright I'll feed our Pokemon"
With that she was off grabbing 6 bowels from the kitchen and a bag of food pellets that grew in water.
"Essy, Razor Come on out " Jessica threw the two pokeballs down and a Galled and Espeon came out and greeted me i said hello and the turned back to get there food,she gave them both a bowl of poke pellets and they went and eat
"Ha ha Thanks Jess,Brea, Valerie come out to eat"a Umbreaon and Gardevoir went right to Jess and got there food after getting it, Brea came and nudged my leg Valerie gave me a hug and then they too went to eat.
( Its a interesting story why we all have eevee and ralts evolutions, in hoenn my dad was doing and experiment with evolution stones and the Pokemon he was testing had eggs he brought 6 eggs home and gave us each two they hatched and we each got a ralts and eevee)
We all finished up and Jess and sara were alredy outside i help my mom and bebe clean up the kitchen then we all went out into the backyard.
The sun was still bright and the wind still blowing
i looked at my belt and saw the pokeballs i grabbed the first two and let there contents out
"Manny ,Toga come on out"
with a swift flick of my wrist the balls flew into the air the first Pokemon out was a giant mamoswine it stomped its foot and let out a happy growl Jessica was already petting him while there Pokemon played in the grass she pet his snout and from what i could see feeding him some apples she gave him another and he leaned his head down allowing her to get on his back.I approached him
"go play then were going to eat"I told him
"Swiiiine" He growled and they were off i heard Jess laughing as they rode away to the surrounding forest
the Second Pokemon was gorgeous majestic one i whistled and the flying Togekiss who was circling the air flew at full speed towards the ground before i knew it i was on his back flying through the air
"haha thats enough bud lets go down" I said as Toga brought me towards the earth
"wow when you said he was big you weren't joking" Sara said walking up to pet him
" Yeah a lot of people have been telling me he is a lot bigger then most togekiss" I replied This was true most togekiss are only about a foot bigger then an average trainer but toga was at least 3 feet taller and 10 feet wider and that's not counting his wing span which must have been at least 15 feet tip to tip
"Can i ride him?"Sara asked
"Ha,Ask him not me"I said
She asked him and he replied with a purring noise and lowered his back for her to get on and they flew off
"Not too far Toga Were eating soon" I called I laughed as i looked back at my belt noticing i only had 3 left and i started with six i saw the other one on the ground and the purple figure trying to get away
"Get back here" I called after the mischievous Mismagius ,disobeying the Mismagius laughed and kept going.
"Missy be gentle! moms not young you know" Missy the ghost Pokemon enjoyed scaring people mostly those who were busy with things a few moments i heard my mom yell followed by laughter
I Grabbed the last 3 balls and released them all at once before i could see the Pokemon i was grasped but a green blur and was given a long bear hug
"Hey Swirlz glad you like me but i need to breath"I chuckled as the politoed jumped down from my chest
"Poli po"he said hoping around close behind me
the other Pokemon I released stood there waiting i went up to my Galled blade.
"Hey blade,How is your arm it got knocked up pretty bad during the battle with Gwen in blackthorn"
Before i could tell him it was time to eat he was already over by his siblings Valerie and Razor showing off his new moves and what not
"Espeoo" the Espeon purred nudging my leg
"Hey Jewel wanna go play?haha go ahead but were eating soon so don't get in trouble"
The espeon ran over to Its siblings over by the house
that was all the Pokemon swirlz was still by my side as he always was when out of his ball
"wanna help me get the food?" I asked
"Poliiiiii to"he said as a smile sped across his face
We walked towards the house we got inside to see Missy helping my mom and Bebe in the kitchen cleaning up
"Callum i was just coming to get you Professor elm saw Toga flying and he called to ask if you were here i said yes and invited him and his family over for tea"my mom said
"ha ha alright its been a while since i saw them all i'll keep and eye out for them while i'm out there come on swirlz" i replied opening the door to the basement
we walked down and got 4 smaller bags of food two of these were for Toga and Manny alone thankfully while traveling i had the water growing ones or it be a little tough.Swirlz grabbed two bags i grabbed the other 2 and my mom helped carry out the bowls and before we could even place it all down There came Yell From the forest where Manny and Jess had went dropping everything me and swirlz ran in to see manny with a scratch on his snout there was and angry larvatar standing there ready to battle
"where did he come from?"I asked pushing Jess out of the way
"I don't know we were walking and he just attacked"She sad with a sob
"Manny ice beam"I yelled
Manny reared back his head as a orb of blue ice crystallized at his mouth before being shot at the small creature it was blown back ,injured it fled into the forest before it was harmed again
"Why on earth is a larvatar in new bark there from hoenn and more importantly are you OK "I asked
"I'm fine just a bit startled" Jess said wiping dirt of her skirt
We all hoped on Manny and we went back to town to see my mom and the elm family waiting for us
"Dear is everything alright!!!" my mom called running up to us she spoke
"Were fine A Larvetar randomly attacked Manny" i said pointing at his nose
"nothing some anti-bacterial cream cant solve let me go get it in the mean time, feed your Pokemon . Manny and swirls bowl is there and the elms are here"my mom said running inside with her blissy She was a retired nurse and it came in handy when ever we were home but she retired after moving to jhoto
"Callum How have you been" Professor Elm said shaking my hand
"Hi Callum"Lyra Elm said giving me a hug
"Sup Callum long time no see"Ethen said holding out his knuckles
"Aww Callum such a long time we must have an interview about your journey for the show"Said Marie Elm (yep that Marie from the talk show with professes oak on jhoto radio)
You could imagine this was a little too much for only 10:30 in the morning
Getting right to the point as the professor always did he started firing questions
"So a larvatar you said ,i wonder what it was doing in these parts hmm very intriguing" Professer Elm Said
"got the cream, now Manny this may sting for a second" my mom rubbed a big dab from the bottle on Manny's snout he did not wince or act like he felt it or anything
"ha ha trying to be tough are we" My mom put the cream away and gave manny a berry from her pocket
"so sorry please come" my mom said gesturing towards the door
Manny finished his food first and the other also finished,Jewel was the only one that had leftovers,I returned them all and we all went inside where elm had a surprise for my sisters.
Chapter 2
Parting ways
"This tea is absolutely delicious,You must give me the recipe"Marie said sipping her tea
"haha theres nothing but a few oran berrys crushed into the mix"My mom said laying down a plate of cookies,
"Yes it is quite good,so Sara and Jessica today you start your journey into the jhoto region ,I'd offer you a starter Pokemon but you each have two, so instead how about these" he reached into his pockets and pulled out 3 pokedex one blue and one pink and one green one
"Wow Thanks" Sara said said grabbing the pink one
"Yeah thanks" Jessica followed grabbing the blue one
"Callum this one is for you"He said offering it to me
"but sir this one i have is almost filled i cant just start over"I replied a little surprised
"haha no need to worry this link cable will transfer all data of Pokemon you have identified and the sinnoh Pokemon you have seen but have not identified all onto this one"He said putting emphasis on not
"Sweet my old one was on the fritz anyway i was going to give professor oak a visit after the Elite four"i said handing elm my old pokedex
He linked the two pokedex together by the cord and 3 faint beeps emitted from both of them and a loading screen showed up on both
"alright that's going to take about half an hour,sorry for the inconvenience but it will be well worth it"elm said
he placed it aside and grabbed his cup of tea and began to sip we all stayed quiet for about 3 minutes while my mom got more tea offering the professor another cup, Ethen and Jess were talking and Sara had been chatting with Lyra
"So Callum when did you get a togekiss there extremely rare"Marie asked
"oh yeah it was in golden rod after i battled Whitney"
"She gave you a shiny stone?you think she would hunt down a togepi just to have a togekiss"Marie responded
"well not exactly i was using toga when he was a togatic and the trainers there were thrilled to see one after i won the plain badge this one trainer i forget her name but she was from sinnoh offered it to me if i would evolve him in the gym for all of them to see i asked toga he agreed and that's that" I said
"wow you should be very thankful shiny stones are very rare indeed"Elm said
"oh Dear look at the time 11:00 already my ferry leaves at 12:30 and it a 45 minute ride to olivine,Callum you don't mind flying me there do you?"
" not at all mom it wont be that long"i said
"no need Callum I'm on my way to cinawood and it along they way and I'm sure Sam my salamance can handle another passenger"
"oh thank you very much tom I'll pay you back somehow" my mom said
"another cup of this amazing tea would do" Elm said chuckling
"Callum that larvatar you saw did it have a scar above its eye"Lyra said hoping for an answer to start a conversation.
"umm i'm not sure i just fought it off trying to protect Jess and Manny"i responded
"OK cause i think i know the one you saw when i was in cherrygrove getting some stuff this old man was injured by a wild Pokemon while picking berries "Lyra said concerned
"Hmm I'll Call the Pokemon rangers to see if they can get him back to his natural habitat he is probably attacking cause he is scared"Elm said sipping his 3rd cup of tea
"well I'm going to go get my things together please help yourself to more tea and cookies"my mom said placing down another plate
"Thanks sue but its no need Ethen, Lyra and I should be on out way home anyways"Marie said
"moms right,But first Callum can i challenge you to a battle before you leave"Lyra asked
"Yes, I need someone to practice Manny's new move set on"I responded surprised by the offer
"Sorry Callum but i don't think i can stay and watch"my mom said
"Your moms right Callum we have to leave now"elm respond
"Shall we all go outside Jess,Sara and Callum get everything you need cause I'm locking the door When we leave" my mom said
"haha yes lets all go out" Marie
Me ,Jess and Sara all got our bags and the small food pellets that would last us 2 weeks some potions and remedies and we all went out side and saw that it had gotten windier than before, the trees branches blew sideways and the many windmills placed around the city blew wildly
"Aright guys come here" my mom called
me, Jess and Sara all went and embraced in a good old family hug and a tear came to my moms eye
"I'm so proud of you,Jess and Sara i want you both to be very careful and i wish you the best of luck on your journey take these with you" my mom pulled out 2 bags of her homemade cookies the same kind she game me when i left
"don't eat them all at once,Callum i knew you could do it the day you left i had no doubt in my mind that you would get this far or even farther you don't know how proud i am i want you too go and fight with all you might,i gave you something but its not here,next time you log into your PC your going to see 3 pokeballs you have never seen before there your fathers I'm sure he would want you to have them"She finished giving me another hug and letting out not tears of sorrow but happiness
"Thanks mom"I said
elm finished saying goodbye and gave a kiss to his wife
"I'll be back tomorrow morning" He said taking out a pokeball throwing it up
A shiny salamance with Orangish red wings and a lime green body flew down and landed beside elm ,with a grin on its face let out a small growl before standing still
"come on sue"elm said gesturing towards Sam
My mom and Elm both climbed onto the dragons back and waved good bye and the salamance flew up and was out of site in mere seconds.
"Come on Lyra its time to battle" I said
Chapter 3
Evolution at its best?
"Umm A 3 on 3 battle, no substitutions,Let have a fair battle!"Marie said asking Ethen if she did alright
"Aright then ladies first" I called
"Ha Aright Come on out Zuma!"She replied tossing her pokeball into the center of my backyard,An Azumarill came out and danced around, used water gun on the air and then jumped and landed with what seemed like something you would see in ballet.
"Zuma i know its been a while but this is not a contest haha"Lyra said
"Azuma!!!"Zuma's eyes widened and it looked around surprised seeing me it instantly shifted to battle mode.
"i see your marill evolved surprising seeing how you never evolve your Pokemon " i Called
"Yep ha so are you gonna stand there and talk or battle?"she asked
"alright then,Manny come show what your made of!"I called throwing the ball up
Manny let out a loud roar before getting into battle stance
"Zuma use hydro pump"Lyra called
a blast of raging water flew from Zuma and hit Manny dead on in the face he a bit startled by the attack but still ready to fight
"not bad,but now i get two attacks in a row"I said with a smirk
"Manny use Ice Beam"I called
The blue orb crystallized then projected it self right at Zuma it was instantly frozen in a block of ice
"Great job now Manny use take down"
'MAMOOOOSWIIII"He reared his head back and began to charge he hit the block of ice with Zuma dead on and it shattered making a fainted Zuma fall to the ground
"Oh my, uh Zuma is unable to battle Manny wins!'Marie called
"wow a lot stronger then i thought..."Lyra said grabbing the other ball on her belt
"Well i beat all the jhoto gyms and i'm on my way to the elite four i can't be that weak haha" i replied returning manny
"See if you can handle this"She said grabbing a ball throwing it into the sky a small bird like Pokemon I'd never seen before flew above us before landing
~Chatot the mimicking Pokemon they say this Pokemon can learn human speech if taught~ my pokedex made a beep then displayed its stats
"Lets do this Chatty"She called
"Pretty cool this pokedex, OK then we will have a flying battle!"I Called "Toga its your turn now" i threw the pokeball into the air and with a flash of red light Toga swirled around Lyra and her chatot and returned to me
"I want to fly up then use extreme speed"I called
in a white blur he flew up and before anyone could see a thing chatot had fainted
"My god that was an amazing move" Lyra called
"Thanks it took us a very long time to master it haha" I said
"Well not bad at all chatty you did your best retuen"she returned her fainted pokeball and grabbed her last pokeball
"I'm counting on you,Come on out Cynda"
She threw the pokeball and a cyndaquill stumbled around and got into position
"that's it?.Aright come on out swirlz"I threw the ball but instead of swirlz jumping on me as he would do any other time he got ready to battle
"Swirlz Surf"I said
"Quick attack then blast burn" she said
Cynda was so fast Swirlz did not even have time to power up surf and he was knocked back but still not fainted
"Hydro pump"I called again
this time the attack hit Cynda head on it was badly damaged but still not defeated
"Wow whats the deal with that Cyndaquill"I called
"just cause a Pokemon is at there smallest evolution doesn't mean they cant be strong,My dad taught me that one" she winked as she made her next move
"Cynda eruption"The ball of fire and molten rock hit swirlz and he fainted
"Swirlz is unable to battle,Cynda wins"Marie called
"That was amazing,come on back swirlz"i returned him and walked over to her
"Thanks but you still won so here's your money"she passed it to me and it aromatically was registered onto my trainer card
"well that was fun,Mrs.Elm you don't mind if we use the healing machine in the Professor's lab?"
"Oh I'm sure after a battle like that he would not mind"She replied
We all walked to the l;Lab that was only about 5 minutes away we healed our Pokemon then steeped outside
"Oh wow,12:45 already its a two day trip to the Pokemon league I better get my stuff and go haha"I said
"and i got to get to work"Ethen said
"well then Lyra shall we go home then"Marie said
"Yeah lets just see Callum off first"Lyra said
"Haha alright"I said can we go back to the house?
I grabbed all my stuff in the back yard my sisters had been ready to go for a while but they wanted to see me go as well i gave them both a hug and my pokegear number and me theirs
"Call if you need help or directions"i said
"all right Thanks" Jess Said
"Well then guess this is it,toga lets go"I said
Toga landed beside me and i got on his back i said goodbye again and waved as my sisters could not be seen , they all went separate ways Ethen seemed to be going to Cherrygrove and was walking with my sisters Marie and Lyra walked back to there house and i on my way to Kanto.
Chapter 4
Surprising hospitality
i approached the water just a little bit south of New bark the waves were calm but it was a very long way to the rest stop that i saw on my pokegear,
"Toga i need you"
toga flew out of his ball and landed at the waters edge
"think you can make the trek for about a 5 hour ride?"
"Togeeekissss" he nodded his head and lowered his back and hoped on it was already 1:00 and the fly to the uncharted island would take about 6 hours
"Aright toga I'm going to call Gwen and then we will get going"
"Kiss"
Ring Ring Ring
"Hello"The voice was sweet and very feminine
"Gwen! It's Callum" i said
"Callum! are you on your way to the league yet i left a day ago from sinnoh and only took 2 rests "
"That's great where are you now?"
"umm just above Mauville City i'll be there in a day and I'll meet you at the league tomorrow afternoon I'll most likely rest in celedon city for the night"
"Awesome Toga and me are just about to leave and we will be there in a day and a half just like you i found this uncharted island that i might camp out on once it gets dark"
"Aright then i got to go now there are clouds coming up and Sally will need to be guided"
"Ok hen see you soon"
"bye!"

In case you don't know that was my child hood friend of 12 years Gwen Avani we both grew up in hoenn together then when we were 8 she moved to sinnoh where her dad took a job as a police officer we recently meet up in Azela city and traveled together beating the gyms we both beat blackthorns gym leader on the same day and she went back sinnoh and i went home as well
"Toga come on lets get going"
With that i tapped his head and he backed up made a running start and we were flying in the air The wind was not as cold as it usually was the wind you get use to after flying so much nothing very eventful happened besides a phone call from my mom saying she caught her ferry on time and the quick glimpse of what i think was a man riding on a yanmega the rest was 4 hours of constant flying and did not get interesting till the uncharted island on my pokegear was coming into focus.
The Sky was Getting Dark it already like 6:30 toga was not really flapping his wings any more but just gliding i almost fell asleep twice due to boredom and had to stop in the water a few time just so i could pee.
"Aright toga there it is go and land"
like he had been waiting for a chance to land he swooped down we were landed
"Aright Toga return,Blade come on out"
"Gallllade"
"come on blade i see a light in the distance I'm sure it was a poke center"
We walked for about 20 minutes before reaching the house, the way there was really creepy even blade sensed like someone was watching us,The house was old and creaky. We went up and before i could knock on the door it swung open reveling a short old women who had a purple dress and a wooden walking stick and long Grey hair.
"Hello dear,Come inside it must be freezing out there"she said is a kind grandmotherly kind of voice
"What a Handsome Gallade,He must have been a great help in your travels"
Still talking i felt oddly like I've seen this women before
"My name is Callum birch and i just flew here from New bark town and i was ho-" I was cut
"you could rest for the night because the island showed up on your pokegear map,Haha your not the first one Callum please take of your shoes and allow my alakazam to take your bag."she said as her alakazam came in smiling holding out his hand i was a about to pass it to him instead in teleported out of no where as if she had read my mind.
"It went to the guest room" she sweetly smiled and then it came to me
"Your Agatha!You were a member of the elite four then your granddaughter took over!" i yelled a little embarrassed abut the volume of which i said it
"haha very smart you are you know your history,Yes I'm Agatha the ghost/physic trainer Pokemon I've been training with those type all my life and i can sense you Mismagius would like to come out"
As if invited Missy came out of her pokeball and swayed around me before swooping to try and scare Agatha with her back turned but before Missy could make her move she jumped around and scared Missy before she could scare her
"oh ho Nice try but like i said almost all my life" She winked and then walked into what i assumed was the living room it was very well decorated everything with a french era kind of thing her alakazam stood and two cups of tea and cookies floated into the room and onto the coffee table
"I hope you don't mind but you will be sharing a room with another guest of mine his name is Toby and he got here about an hour before you.He should be down any minute he had a little trouble getting here and fell into the swamp just a bit west of this house so he is talking a shower .he is also on the way to the league"
'Thats cool we could have a battle . the thing is my Pokemon need more rest then i do,Its been a long day"
"no need to worry I've got a healing machine in the den"
"Thats great I'll finish my tea and go use it"
we finished up the tea and i was about to go find the macihe when i bumped into a buff guy only holding a towel around his waist, he was muscular and had brod shoulders the hair on his face had been someone longer then mine was his head hair was wet making him look like a untrimmed mareep
"sorry," he said he a lot softer voice then a deep one you would Expect from a guy who looks like that
"no problem,I'm assuming your the other person I'm bunking with tonight"
"I guess so names Toby Mainer from Celedon city" he said holding out his hand
"Callum Birch from New bark town,So your on your way to the elite four?"

He walked away and somewhat relieved i found the machine i went to put my 6 pokeballs only to release Missy was not in hers i sighed and went back to the living room to see her swaying around something i could not see and in about a second another purple figure appeared and startled i saw it was a gengar
"Is that the famous gengar that had taken down so many trainers at the league"
"yep thats him we have been life long friends since he was a gastly i had him when i was fourteen"
"awesome!Missy come on you need your rest for tomorrow then you can comeback and do whatever you were doing"
on those last word i jumped up and screamed like little girl only to turn around to see i had been pinched by a haunter
"Dear sweet Jesus," i yelled
"i should have expected something like that here, i guess that's payback for all the times I've let Missy scare people "i responded returning Missy to her ball
"oh sorry dear but you got to watch your back inside and out on this island its over flowing with ghost Pokemon its why i live her "she said laughing
"Hey Agatha,If you don't mind me asking,do you have any shaving cream" Toby walked into the room now wearing shorts"
"oh dear I'm afraid i don't sorry"
"its cool i got some in my bag but no razors like you dry your hair with your mascargo i shave with my Galled "
"well it seems we all have met each other and learned some crazy habits"Agatha said
"I guess so,But if its not to much trouble could i be directed to where my bag is"I said chuckling
"oh Toby can you bring Callum to the room your staying in"Agatha asked

"and while your doing that I'll start making dinner"
We walked down the hall. I noticed there were pictures of Agatha with what might have been grandchildren, or trainers. Regardless, almost everyone of the pictures had red, glowing eyes somewhere in the background.
"Here it is" Toby said, bringing me out of my daze.
The room was tidy and 4 beds were set up along the walls. My bag and shoes were properly placed at the foot of my bed and Toby's on another. I dug into my bag, found the can of SeaFoam Island Fresh shaving cream and handed it to Toby.
"I don't have any razors so as awkward as it sounds, do you want to use my gallade?"
We both laughed but it really was the only way we were going to shave and not look like bums at the league. We shaved and got to talking. He 2 was from Celedon City but instead of getting the Kanto gym badges, he got the Jhoto badges to see more places. Just like Gwen did. He just came from Blackthorn and ended up here.
"Thanks Blade."
I gave him a towel and he wiped the shaving cream off his arm. Then he shook his head in what may have been sarcastic disappointment and returned to his pokeball.
"So should we get back to Agatha and help with dinner?" Toby asked
"Let's go."
We walked down the hallway and into the smell of mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.
"What smells so good" Toby called, walking into the kitchen.
"Oh, just some potatoes and string beans. I hope you like it" Agatha said as her alakazam moved the plates to the table telepathically.
"Please, sit down and eat up! You have a big day ahead of you tomorrow" she said, chuckling.
We all sat down. We ate quietly when all of a sudden alakazam dropped the plates it was holding, jumped into the air, and passed out on the floor.
"KAZAR!!!" Agatha yelled, running to her alakazam.
We all ran to him and he woke up. But there was something wrong, his eyes were glowing a dark blue.
"Oh dear, he is having a vision. He has not had one since I was beaten by Red, years ago."
The room remained silent and Kazar, as Agatha called to him, began to speak. But his mouth did not move, he was speaking telepathically.
"The rain will be sour,

He stopped and everyone stood quietly, shocked. Agatha was the first to move, she returned Kazar to his pokeball.
"I think I'll go to sleep now. I'll clean up in the morning if you wish." And with that she left us with the broken plates, and dinner cooling on the table.
"What was all that about?" Toby asked.
"To be honest, I have no damn clue. Did you hear what he said too?" I responed
"Yes, but I have no idea what it means."
We cleaned everything up and went to bed. It wasn't easy to sleep. As I pondered what those words had meant me and Toby decided we would go to the league together tomorrow. Him, Gwen and I would also travel through the Victory Road cave. I finally fell asleep, and I finally felt calm until......

My Name is Callum birch.Dose the name sound familiar? well it might my uncle Jonathan Birch is a well known professor,You could say he is the Professor Oak of Hoenn and if you don't know what that is you might as well lived on top of Mt.Silver. I'm going to make this short and sweet cause I'm sure you wanna read ahead anyway. I was born and Raised in Hoenn My dad was a professor there working with my Uncle,Experiment goes wrong my dad dies one year later my mom and my two sisters and i (who i'll introduce soon ) move to new bark town we lived there for 4 years and i decided to start my Jhoto journey a year goes by i beat the gym leaders of Jhoto and our story starts at my house in new bark after coming home....
Chapter 1: Old and new bark town
*BEEP BEEP BEEP* My poke gear went off like its been doing for over a year it was a bright and sunny outside and windy like it always was in New Bark,I looked at the familiar surroundings the posters of different gym leaders on the wall and the original elite four,I got up and looked in the mirror i have not shaved in a few days and some stubble was setting in, my brown hair dangled and the Broad shoulders i was never use to stood out more in this light i got dressed with the usual blue and purple jacket and blue jeans that(thank god)were clean thanks to my mom and speaking of my mom(Susan) i could smell her cooking it had been a while since i had her homemade food,I walked down the steps and was greeted by her always happy face.
"Morning dear,Have a seat your sisters will be down soon to eat its a big day for all of us, I've made bacon and eggs your favorite"
She said in her sweet voice with her light brown hair waving while she walked i zoned out, today was a really big day my sisters Jessica and Sara were starting there journey in jhoto,i was on my way to fight the elite four and my mom was taking a 2 week trip to visit my uncle, cousins and friends in hoenn.I was brought back to reality by something nudging my arm startled i jumped just to see my moms arcanine Arcy wanting some attention i pat his head for a moment and he began to stare intently at a spot across the table within 4 seconds a purple aura appeared and My twin sisters Jessica and Sara and Jessica's Gardevoir,Valerie appeared from what seemed like nothing
"Thanks Val" Jess said returning her Pokemon
"do you really have to Teleport everywhere?" I asked
"Do you really have to Fly everywhere on Toga" Sara said with a smirk on her face
She had me beat there.
"Morning dears are we hungry?" My mom said bringing in 2 plates and the other 2 being carried by her Blissy ,Bebe interrupting our constant arguing
"bliss bli" Bebe said placing the most delicious looking plate of bacon and eggs in front of me
"Thanks" i replied grabbing my fork She smiled and returned to the kitchen to do dishes
"Wait,Callum aren't you going to feed your Pokemon? " Jess Asked
"ha ha there a little big for the house Jess,Remember, I'll bring them out when i'm done"
"ha ha Aright I'll feed our Pokemon"
With that she was off grabbing 6 bowels from the kitchen and a bag of food pellets that grew in water.
"Essy, Razor Come on out " Jessica threw the two pokeballs down and a Galled and Espeon came out and greeted me i said hello and the turned back to get there food,she gave them both a bowl of poke pellets and they went and eat
"Ha ha Thanks Jess,Brea, Valerie come out to eat"a Umbreaon and Gardevoir went right to Jess and got there food after getting it, Brea came and nudged my leg Valerie gave me a hug and then they too went to eat.
( Its a interesting story why we all have eevee and ralts evolutions, in hoenn my dad was doing and experiment with evolution stones and the Pokemon he was testing had eggs he brought 6 eggs home and gave us each two they hatched and we each got a ralts and eevee)
We all finished up and Jess and sara were alredy outside i help my mom and bebe clean up the kitchen then we all went out into the backyard.
The sun was still bright and the wind still blowing
i looked at my belt and saw the pokeballs i grabbed the first two and let there contents out
"Manny ,Toga come on out"
with a swift flick of my wrist the balls flew into the air the first Pokemon out was a giant mamoswine it stomped its foot and let out a happy growl Jessica was already petting him while there Pokemon played in the grass she pet his snout and from what i could see feeding him some apples she gave him another and he leaned his head down allowing her to get on his back.I approached him
"go play then were going to eat"I told him
"Swiiiine" He growled and they were off i heard Jess laughing as they rode away to the surrounding forest
the Second Pokemon was gorgeous majestic one i whistled and the flying Togekiss who was circling the air flew at full speed towards the ground before i knew it i was on his back flying through the air
"haha thats enough bud lets go down" I said as Toga brought me towards the earth
"wow when you said he was big you weren't joking" Sara said walking up to pet him
" Yeah a lot of people have been telling me he is a lot bigger then most togekiss" I replied This was true most togekiss are only about a foot bigger then an average trainer but toga was at least 3 feet taller and 10 feet wider and that's not counting his wing span which must have been at least 15 feet tip to tip
"Can i ride him?"Sara asked
"Ha,Ask him not me"I said
She asked him and he replied with a purring noise and lowered his back for her to get on and they flew off
"Not too far Toga Were eating soon" I called I laughed as i looked back at my belt noticing i only had 3 left and i started with six i saw the other one on the ground and the purple figure trying to get away
"Get back here" I called after the mischievous Mismagius ,disobeying the Mismagius laughed and kept going.
"Missy be gentle! moms not young you know" Missy the ghost Pokemon enjoyed scaring people mostly those who were busy with things a few moments i heard my mom yell followed by laughter
I Grabbed the last 3 balls and released them all at once before i could see the Pokemon i was grasped but a green blur and was given a long bear hug
"Hey Swirlz glad you like me but i need to breath"I chuckled as the politoed jumped down from my chest
"Poli po"he said hoping around close behind me
the other Pokemon I released stood there waiting i went up to my Galled blade.
"Hey blade,How is your arm it got knocked up pretty bad during the battle with Gwen in blackthorn"
Before i could tell him it was time to eat he was already over by his siblings Valerie and Razor showing off his new moves and what not
"Espeoo" the Espeon purred nudging my leg
"Hey Jewel wanna go play?haha go ahead but were eating soon so don't get in trouble"
The espeon ran over to Its siblings over by the house
that was all the Pokemon swirlz was still by my side as he always was when out of his ball
"wanna help me get the food?" I asked
"Poliiiiii to"he said as a smile sped across his face
We walked towards the house we got inside to see Missy helping my mom and Bebe in the kitchen cleaning up
"Callum i was just coming to get you Professor elm saw Toga flying and he called to ask if you were here i said yes and invited him and his family over for tea"my mom said
"ha ha alright its been a while since i saw them all i'll keep and eye out for them while i'm out there come on swirlz" i replied opening the door to the basement
we walked down and got 4 smaller bags of food two of these were for Toga and Manny alone thankfully while traveling i had the water growing ones or it be a little tough.Swirlz grabbed two bags i grabbed the other 2 and my mom helped carry out the bowls and before we could even place it all down There came Yell From the forest where Manny and Jess had went dropping everything me and swirlz ran in to see manny with a scratch on his snout there was and angry larvatar standing there ready to battle
"where did he come from?"I asked pushing Jess out of the way
"I don't know we were walking and he just attacked"She sad with a sob
"Manny ice beam"I yelled
Manny reared back his head as a orb of blue ice crystallized at his mouth before being shot at the small creature it was blown back ,injured it fled into the forest before it was harmed again
"Why on earth is a larvatar in new bark there from hoenn and more importantly are you OK "I asked
"I'm fine just a bit startled" Jess said wiping dirt of her skirt
We all hoped on Manny and we went back to town to see my mom and the elm family waiting for us
"Dear is everything alright!!!" my mom called running up to us she spoke
"Were fine A Larvetar randomly attacked Manny" i said pointing at his nose
"nothing some anti-bacterial cream cant solve let me go get it in the mean time, feed your Pokemon . Manny and swirls bowl is there and the elms are here"my mom said running inside with her blissy She was a retired nurse and it came in handy when ever we were home but she retired after moving to jhoto
"Callum How have you been" Professor Elm said shaking my hand
"Hi Callum"Lyra Elm said giving me a hug
"Sup Callum long time no see"Ethen said holding out his knuckles
"Aww Callum such a long time we must have an interview about your journey for the show"Said Marie Elm (yep that Marie from the talk show with professes oak on jhoto radio)
You could imagine this was a little too much for only 10:30 in the morning
Getting right to the point as the professor always did he started firing questions
"So a larvatar you said ,i wonder what it was doing in these parts hmm very intriguing" Professer Elm Said
"got the cream, now Manny this may sting for a second" my mom rubbed a big dab from the bottle on Manny's snout he did not wince or act like he felt it or anything
"ha ha trying to be tough are we" My mom put the cream away and gave manny a berry from her pocket
"so sorry please come" my mom said gesturing towards the door
Manny finished his food first and the other also finished,Jewel was the only one that had leftovers,I returned them all and we all went inside where elm had a surprise for my sisters.

Parting ways
"This tea is absolutely delicious,You must give me the recipe"Marie said sipping her tea
"haha theres nothing but a few oran berrys crushed into the mix"My mom said laying down a plate of cookies,
"Yes it is quite good,so Sara and Jessica today you start your journey into the jhoto region ,I'd offer you a starter Pokemon but you each have two, so instead how about these" he reached into his pockets and pulled out 3 pokedex one blue and one pink and one green one
"Wow Thanks" Sara said said grabbing the pink one
"Yeah thanks" Jessica followed grabbing the blue one
"Callum this one is for you"He said offering it to me
"but sir this one i have is almost filled i cant just start over"I replied a little surprised
"haha no need to worry this link cable will transfer all data of Pokemon you have identified and the sinnoh Pokemon you have seen but have not identified all onto this one"He said putting emphasis on not
"Sweet my old one was on the fritz anyway i was going to give professor oak a visit after the Elite four"i said handing elm my old pokedex
He linked the two pokedex together by the cord and 3 faint beeps emitted from both of them and a loading screen showed up on both
"alright that's going to take about half an hour,sorry for the inconvenience but it will be well worth it"elm said
he placed it aside and grabbed his cup of tea and began to sip we all stayed quiet for about 3 minutes while my mom got more tea offering the professor another cup, Ethen and Jess were talking and Sara had been chatting with Lyra
"So Callum when did you get a togekiss there extremely rare"Marie asked
"oh yeah it was in golden rod after i battled Whitney"
"She gave you a shiny stone?you think she would hunt down a togepi just to have a togekiss"Marie responded
"well not exactly i was using toga when he was a togatic and the trainers there were thrilled to see one after i won the plain badge this one trainer i forget her name but she was from sinnoh offered it to me if i would evolve him in the gym for all of them to see i asked toga he agreed and that's that" I said
"wow you should be very thankful shiny stones are very rare indeed"Elm said
"oh Dear look at the time 11:00 already my ferry leaves at 12:30 and it a 45 minute ride to olivine,Callum you don't mind flying me there do you?"
" not at all mom it wont be that long"i said
"no need Callum I'm on my way to cinawood and it along they way and I'm sure Sam my salamance can handle another passenger"
"oh thank you very much tom I'll pay you back somehow" my mom said
"another cup of this amazing tea would do" Elm said chuckling
"Callum that larvatar you saw did it have a scar above its eye"Lyra said hoping for an answer to start a conversation.
"umm i'm not sure i just fought it off trying to protect Jess and Manny"i responded
"OK cause i think i know the one you saw when i was in cherrygrove getting some stuff this old man was injured by a wild Pokemon while picking berries "Lyra said concerned
"Hmm I'll Call the Pokemon rangers to see if they can get him back to his natural habitat he is probably attacking cause he is scared"Elm said sipping his 3rd cup of tea
"well I'm going to go get my things together please help yourself to more tea and cookies"my mom said placing down another plate
"Thanks sue but its no need Ethen, Lyra and I should be on out way home anyways"Marie said
"moms right,But first Callum can i challenge you to a battle before you leave"Lyra asked
"Yes, I need someone to practice Manny's new move set on"I responded surprised by the offer
"Sorry Callum but i don't think i can stay and watch"my mom said
"Your moms right Callum we have to leave now"elm respond
"Shall we all go outside Jess,Sara and Callum get everything you need cause I'm locking the door When we leave" my mom said
"haha yes lets all go out" Marie
Me ,Jess and Sara all got our bags and the small food pellets that would last us 2 weeks some potions and remedies and we all went out side and saw that it had gotten windier than before, the trees branches blew sideways and the many windmills placed around the city blew wildly
"Aright guys come here" my mom called
me, Jess and Sara all went and embraced in a good old family hug and a tear came to my moms eye
"I'm so proud of you,Jess and Sara i want you both to be very careful and i wish you the best of luck on your journey take these with you" my mom pulled out 2 bags of her homemade cookies the same kind she game me when i left
"don't eat them all at once,Callum i knew you could do it the day you left i had no doubt in my mind that you would get this far or even farther you don't know how proud i am i want you too go and fight with all you might,i gave you something but its not here,next time you log into your PC your going to see 3 pokeballs you have never seen before there your fathers I'm sure he would want you to have them"She finished giving me another hug and letting out not tears of sorrow but happiness
"Thanks mom"I said
elm finished saying goodbye and gave a kiss to his wife
"I'll be back tomorrow morning" He said taking out a pokeball throwing it up
A shiny salamance with Orangish red wings and a lime green body flew down and landed beside elm ,with a grin on its face let out a small growl before standing still
"come on sue"elm said gesturing towards Sam
My mom and Elm both climbed onto the dragons back and waved good bye and the salamance flew up and was out of site in mere seconds.
"Come on Lyra its time to battle" I said
Chapter 3
Evolution at its best?
"Umm A 3 on 3 battle, no substitutions,Let have a fair battle!"Marie said asking Ethen if she did alright
"Aright then ladies first" I called
"Ha Aright Come on out Zuma!"She replied tossing her pokeball into the center of my backyard,An Azumarill came out and danced around, used water gun on the air and then jumped and landed with what seemed like something you would see in ballet.
"Zuma i know its been a while but this is not a contest haha"Lyra said
"Azuma!!!"Zuma's eyes widened and it looked around surprised seeing me it instantly shifted to battle mode.
"i see your marill evolved surprising seeing how you never evolve your Pokemon " i Called
"Yep ha so are you gonna stand there and talk or battle?"she asked
"alright then,Manny come show what your made of!"I called throwing the ball up
Manny let out a loud roar before getting into battle stance
"Zuma use hydro pump"Lyra called
a blast of raging water flew from Zuma and hit Manny dead on in the face he a bit startled by the attack but still ready to fight
"not bad,but now i get two attacks in a row"I said with a smirk
"Manny use Ice Beam"I called
The blue orb crystallized then projected it self right at Zuma it was instantly frozen in a block of ice

'MAMOOOOSWIIII"He reared his head back and began to charge he hit the block of ice with Zuma dead on and it shattered making a fainted Zuma fall to the ground
"Oh my, uh Zuma is unable to battle Manny wins!'Marie called
"wow a lot stronger then i thought..."Lyra said grabbing the other ball on her belt
"Well i beat all the jhoto gyms and i'm on my way to the elite four i can't be that weak haha" i replied returning manny
"See if you can handle this"She said grabbing a ball throwing it into the sky a small bird like Pokemon I'd never seen before flew above us before landing
~Chatot the mimicking Pokemon they say this Pokemon can learn human speech if taught~ my pokedex made a beep then displayed its stats
"Lets do this Chatty"She called
"Pretty cool this pokedex, OK then we will have a flying battle!"I Called "Toga its your turn now" i threw the pokeball into the air and with a flash of red light Toga swirled around Lyra and her chatot and returned to me
"I want to fly up then use extreme speed"I called
in a white blur he flew up and before anyone could see a thing chatot had fainted
"My god that was an amazing move" Lyra called
"Thanks it took us a very long time to master it haha" I said
"Well not bad at all chatty you did your best retuen"she returned her fainted pokeball and grabbed her last pokeball
"I'm counting on you,Come on out Cynda"
She threw the pokeball and a cyndaquill stumbled around and got into position
"that's it?.Aright come on out swirlz"I threw the ball but instead of swirlz jumping on me as he would do any other time he got ready to battle
"Swirlz Surf"I said
"Quick attack then blast burn" she said
Cynda was so fast Swirlz did not even have time to power up surf and he was knocked back but still not fainted
"Hydro pump"I called again
this time the attack hit Cynda head on it was badly damaged but still not defeated
"Wow whats the deal with that Cyndaquill"I called
"just cause a Pokemon is at there smallest evolution doesn't mean they cant be strong,My dad taught me that one" she winked as she made her next move
"Cynda eruption"The ball of fire and molten rock hit swirlz and he fainted
"Swirlz is unable to battle,Cynda wins"Marie called
"That was amazing,come on back swirlz"i returned him and walked over to her
"Thanks but you still won so here's your money"she passed it to me and it aromatically was registered onto my trainer card
"well that was fun,Mrs.Elm you don't mind if we use the healing machine in the Professor's lab?"
"Oh I'm sure after a battle like that he would not mind"She replied
We all walked to the l;Lab that was only about 5 minutes away we healed our Pokemon then steeped outside
"Oh wow,12:45 already its a two day trip to the Pokemon league I better get my stuff and go haha"I said
"and i got to get to work"Ethen said
"well then Lyra shall we go home then"Marie said
"Yeah lets just see Callum off first"Lyra said
"Haha alright"I said can we go back to the house?
I grabbed all my stuff in the back yard my sisters had been ready to go for a while but they wanted to see me go as well i gave them both a hug and my pokegear number and me theirs
"Call if you need help or directions"i said

"Well then guess this is it,toga lets go"I said
Toga landed beside me and i got on his back i said goodbye again and waved as my sisters could not be seen , they all went separate ways Ethen seemed to be going to Cherrygrove and was walking with my sisters Marie and Lyra walked back to there house and i on my way to Kanto.
Chapter 4
Surprising hospitality
i approached the water just a little bit south of New bark the waves were calm but it was a very long way to the rest stop that i saw on my pokegear,
"Toga i need you"
toga flew out of his ball and landed at the waters edge
"think you can make the trek for about a 5 hour ride?"
"Togeeekissss" he nodded his head and lowered his back and hoped on it was already 1:00 and the fly to the uncharted island would take about 6 hours
"Aright toga I'm going to call Gwen and then we will get going"

"Hello"The voice was sweet and very feminine
"Gwen! It's Callum" i said
"Callum! are you on your way to the league yet i left a day ago from sinnoh and only took 2 rests "
"That's great where are you now?"
"umm just above Mauville City i'll be there in a day and I'll meet you at the league tomorrow afternoon I'll most likely rest in celedon city for the night"
"Awesome Toga and me are just about to leave and we will be there in a day and a half just like you i found this uncharted island that i might camp out on once it gets dark"
"Aright then i got to go now there are clouds coming up and Sally will need to be guided"

In case you don't know that was my child hood friend of 12 years Gwen Avani we both grew up in hoenn together then when we were 8 she moved to sinnoh where her dad took a job as a police officer we recently meet up in Azela city and traveled together beating the gyms we both beat blackthorns gym leader on the same day and she went back sinnoh and i went home as well
"Toga come on lets get going"
With that i tapped his head and he backed up made a running start and we were flying in the air The wind was not as cold as it usually was the wind you get use to after flying so much nothing very eventful happened besides a phone call from my mom saying she caught her ferry on time and the quick glimpse of what i think was a man riding on a yanmega the rest was 4 hours of constant flying and did not get interesting till the uncharted island on my pokegear was coming into focus.
The Sky was Getting Dark it already like 6:30 toga was not really flapping his wings any more but just gliding i almost fell asleep twice due to boredom and had to stop in the water a few time just so i could pee.
"Aright toga there it is go and land"
like he had been waiting for a chance to land he swooped down we were landed
"Aright Toga return,Blade come on out"
"Gallllade"
"come on blade i see a light in the distance I'm sure it was a poke center"
We walked for about 20 minutes before reaching the house, the way there was really creepy even blade sensed like someone was watching us,The house was old and creaky. We went up and before i could knock on the door it swung open reveling a short old women who had a purple dress and a wooden walking stick and long Grey hair.
"Hello dear,Come inside it must be freezing out there"she said is a kind grandmotherly kind of voice
"What a Handsome Gallade,He must have been a great help in your travels"
Still talking i felt oddly like I've seen this women before
"My name is Callum birch and i just flew here from New bark town and i was ho-" I was cut
"you could rest for the night because the island showed up on your pokegear map,Haha your not the first one Callum please take of your shoes and allow my alakazam to take your bag."she said as her alakazam came in smiling holding out his hand i was a about to pass it to him instead in teleported out of no where as if she had read my mind.

"Your Agatha!You were a member of the elite four then your granddaughter took over!" i yelled a little embarrassed abut the volume of which i said it
"haha very smart you are you know your history,Yes I'm Agatha the ghost/physic trainer Pokemon I've been training with those type all my life and i can sense you Mismagius would like to come out"
As if invited Missy came out of her pokeball and swayed around me before swooping to try and scare Agatha with her back turned but before Missy could make her move she jumped around and scared Missy before she could scare her
"oh ho Nice try but like i said almost all my life" She winked and then walked into what i assumed was the living room it was very well decorated everything with a french era kind of thing her alakazam stood and two cups of tea and cookies floated into the room and onto the coffee table
"I hope you don't mind but you will be sharing a room with another guest of mine his name is Toby and he got here about an hour before you.He should be down any minute he had a little trouble getting here and fell into the swamp just a bit west of this house so he is talking a shower .he is also on the way to the league"

we finished up the tea and i was about to go find the macihe when i bumped into a buff guy only holding a towel around his waist, he was muscular and had brod shoulders the hair on his face had been someone longer then mine was his head hair was wet making him look like a untrimmed mareep
"sorry," he said he a lot softer voice then a deep one you would Expect from a guy who looks like that
"no problem,I'm assuming your the other person I'm bunking with tonight"
"I guess so names Toby Mainer from Celedon city" he said holding out his hand
"Callum Birch from New bark town,So your on your way to the elite four?"
"Yeah did Agatha tell you?"

There was an awkward silence seeing how we were talking in a hallway with him soaking wet with a towel around his waste
"I'm going to get my pokeballs cause as stupid as it sounds i get my Mascargo Mac to dries of my hair"
"Haha, that's cool. I'll leave you to it then."
He walked away and somewhat relieved i found the machine i went to put my 6 pokeballs only to release Missy was not in hers i sighed and went back to the living room to see her swaying around something i could not see and in about a second another purple figure appeared and startled i saw it was a gengar
"Is that the famous gengar that had taken down so many trainers at the league"
"yep thats him we have been life long friends since he was a gastly i had him when i was fourteen"
"awesome!Missy come on you need your rest for tomorrow then you can comeback and do whatever you were doing"
on those last word i jumped up and screamed like little girl only to turn around to see i had been pinched by a haunter
"Dear sweet Jesus," i yelled
"i should have expected something like that here, i guess that's payback for all the times I've let Missy scare people "i responded returning Missy to her ball
"oh sorry dear but you got to watch your back inside and out on this island its over flowing with ghost Pokemon its why i live her "she said laughing
"Hey Agatha,If you don't mind me asking,do you have any shaving cream" Toby walked into the room now wearing shorts"
"oh dear I'm afraid i don't sorry"
"its cool i got some in my bag but no razors like you dry your hair with your mascargo i shave with my Galled "
"well it seems we all have met each other and learned some crazy habits"Agatha said
"I guess so,But if its not to much trouble could i be directed to where my bag is"I said chuckling
"oh Toby can you bring Callum to the room your staying in"Agatha asked
"of course come on "
"and while your doing that I'll start making dinner"
We walked down the hall. I noticed there were pictures of Agatha with what might have been grandchildren, or trainers. Regardless, almost everyone of the pictures had red, glowing eyes somewhere in the background.
"Here it is" Toby said, bringing me out of my daze.
The room was tidy and 4 beds were set up along the walls. My bag and shoes were properly placed at the foot of my bed and Toby's on another. I dug into my bag, found the can of SeaFoam Island Fresh shaving cream and handed it to Toby.
"I don't have any razors so as awkward as it sounds, do you want to use my gallade?"
We both laughed but it really was the only way we were going to shave and not look like bums at the league. We shaved and got to talking. He 2 was from Celedon City but instead of getting the Kanto gym badges, he got the Jhoto badges to see more places. Just like Gwen did. He just came from Blackthorn and ended up here.
"Thanks Blade."
I gave him a towel and he wiped the shaving cream off his arm. Then he shook his head in what may have been sarcastic disappointment and returned to his pokeball.
"So should we get back to Agatha and help with dinner?" Toby asked
"Let's go."
We walked down the hallway and into the smell of mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.
"What smells so good" Toby called, walking into the kitchen.
"Oh, just some potatoes and string beans. I hope you like it" Agatha said as her alakazam moved the plates to the table telepathically.
"Please, sit down and eat up! You have a big day ahead of you tomorrow" she said, chuckling.
We all sat down. We ate quietly when all of a sudden alakazam dropped the plates it was holding, jumped into the air, and passed out on the floor.
"KAZAR!!!" Agatha yelled, running to her alakazam.
We all ran to him and he woke up. But there was something wrong, his eyes were glowing a dark blue.
"Oh dear, he is having a vision. He has not had one since I was beaten by Red, years ago."
The room remained silent and Kazar, as Agatha called to him, began to speak. But his mouth did not move, he was speaking telepathically.
"The rain will be sour,
The fruit on the vine will rot,
All who have touched nature by force will be punished,
Only the surviors will......."
He stopped and everyone stood quietly, shocked. Agatha was the first to move, she returned Kazar to his pokeball.
"I think I'll go to sleep now. I'll clean up in the morning if you wish." And with that she left us with the broken plates, and dinner cooling on the table.
"What was all that about?" Toby asked.
"To be honest, I have no damn clue. Did you hear what he said too?" I responed
"Yes, but I have no idea what it means."
We cleaned everything up and went to bed. It wasn't easy to sleep. As I pondered what those words had meant me and Toby decided we would go to the league together tomorrow. Him, Gwen and I would also travel through the Victory Road cave. I finally fell asleep, and I finally felt calm until......
