I think i'd like to start doing competitive battling, which i've never really done before... I'm remaking my team, what are your opinions on this one?

Skitty lvl 50 (Named him Alphonse ^_^)
Raichu lvl 41 (Edward)
Vulpix unknown lvl (Kitsune)
Trapinch unknown lvl
Eevee lvl 1 Hoping to evolve into Glaceon
Staryu unknown lvl

Also, should I evolve Eevee right away, or level it up? And is there anything I should know about competitive battling? Thanks

I suggest you look at other RMTs to see what they look like for starters. You should also learn about tiering and how your Pokemon fit into them.

1. most competitive battles use tiers which u can find on smogon.com(google it)
2. In RMT's u tell us the moveset, evs, nature and held item of each pokemon and its purpose on the team

and u r going need a brand new team

You need to add movesets, EV's and natures, and also to expand the purpose of each poke. You shouldn't really use not fully evolved pokemon in most cases; although Trapinch is competitively viable because of its ability, Arena Trap, the others should be fully evolved. Ironically, it's probably better to use a Pikachu holding a Light Ball than a Raichu, however.

Rather than tell us what Pokemon you currently have, which is of use only to you, you should tell us what you're planning to get. Generally, the team is planned out here, and then you go make whatever is decided upon, even if you have to get entirely new Pokemon to do it.

So yeah, figure out and post what you think your final team will look like.

The only thing I could say as far as suggestions go (that no one else has already mentioned) is that Glaceon can go ahead and be evolved now. Unless you need some kind of Egg Move, Glaceon gets what it needs through its own moves.

But seriously, EVs, Natures, Move Sets, Items, Strategies. You need 'em.
