Upon closer inspection, I've noticed that this line now exists in the <head>:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=9" />

I'd like to know what broke in IE10 that caused the addition of such a line. (If it helps, I'm using Erika's New Garden as the forum skin, running IE10 for Windows 7.)

IE10 has never played properly with the post editor. If you use the standard editor, you'd never get the errors, but it caused problems if you tried to use the alternative modes. Before, if you used IE10 the issue was solved by locking you out of the alternative modes, but following the small upgrade we did earlier today, that's now resolved by getting IE10 to work in IE9 compatibility mode, which for some reason works properly where IE10 fails.

Hmm... Speaking of the post editor, is it a third-party add-in, or is ot what came with vBulletin 4?

Internet Explorer 11 Preview is now available as part of Windows 8.1 Preview, and also as a separate download for Windows 7. Have the editor been tested with IE11? It might have been fixed by then. (I'm not sure whether I should post a new thread about this, or reuse this.)
