So what do we think about different types of the same pokemon?

I'm not really talking about regional forms I'm rather referencing how something like a dog or a cat can have many different forms and types. I've seen quite a few artist renditions of it and I find it really cool. Especially when they make comparisons in types made for battling, domestic, wild, etc. As well as crossbreeding species!

I like them, they have always been a fun thought experiment and I love when a strange pairing produces a cuter Pokemon as a result. As for their implementation in Pokemon games I think it would be fun for a couple species, it would bring back some attention to breeding (which is getting left out nowadays), making forms for everything would be quite daunting.

Back in high school I thought of something similar. I imagined a Pokémon that didn't have a "default" form and just came in a different form for every type. I never got to thinking of what it would look like, though, just the concept. Maybe I'll revisit this and come up with a Fakemon.
