Where do you think Ash will go after he challanges the sinnoh league and just so happens to lose in the semi-finalls to some random trainer again??

Personnaly i think he's going to go through the sinnoh battle frontier

First, ash will not lose. I can see him sweeping through the league.
Two, this is only cause there is major build up to an E4 challenge, which should rightfully happen.
Three, of course its going to be the frontier what else?

I lol'd at the thought of Ash sweeping the E4.

Also don't we have a thread like this already?

It would be neat to see the Shinnoh Battle Frontier in the anime. Can't wait to see how Thorton looks. D:

At the rate Sinnoh is going, we won't even hit the league till mid-2010.

They also could put the Grand Festival after the League.
I know they've never done that, but why not? By the way, the Sinnoh grand festival will likely take place at the Ribbon Society (Resort Area, i don't see them returning to hearthome and it would make sense that the GF would be located here), so since you have to beat the league in the games to get to this island, the conclusion of the sinnoh contest arc is likely to be after the league. So maybe the league will begin in march/april.

The writers still focus on Ash more than Dawn, so I'm sure his league will come last.

I also think the Grand Festival will still only be 3 episodes, simply because most of Dawn's contests are only 1 part, and the Wallace Cup didn't go over 3 episodes either.

But throw in that with a couple of fillers and whatever else, and it could be a while yet till Sinnoh ends.

I'm guessing that Sinnoh will go right up to generation V. If not, they'll add a filler arc that's either the Battle Zone or a unique location.

Ash probably won't get to Sunyshore till late December or January

That's what I was thinking, since I kinda calculated that we won't get to the TG arc finale in the US until about early to mid-January, going by how Cartoon Network airs a new episode every Saturday.

i think cartoon network should start airing the show more often like maybe twice a week

The rate of which CN airs the episodes won't matter since in Japan there is usually only one new episode a week.

If CN rushed through a season, they'd run out of episodes for the dub and have to wait for Japan to get ahead again.

Why has everyone given up the possibility going back to Johto?

If there's a third version to HGSS, it's likely they'll have new brains, with new brains, it's likely the trio will go back to Johto since Johto and Sinnoh would now have seperate Battle Frontiers.

Speculating about a new set of Brains outside the Sinnoh ones when they don't exist for the time being seems pointless.

Why has everyone given up the possibility going back to Johto?

Personally, I'd really like to see when a new region and/or 5th Generation comes out...but I still consider the possibility of them going back to Johto. Didn't they go back through Kanto for the Battle Frontier saga after Hoenn, to go along with the FireRed and LeafGreen remakes or something like that?

Yep, but this is DP, it doesn't have to follow everything last generation did.

We'll still be in Sinnoh for awhile yet, it'll probably end somewhere around the 200th episode.

Don't laugh. Ash will probably beat all three of the main competitors, Paul, Barry, Nando, then finish off by winning the league. I wouldn't mind say that paul would be his final league battle, and the final battle in general.
