So who is your favorite coordinators?

Well who is your favorite coordinators? Some of mine are the grandfestival winners and those random ones I just threw in.

I'll say Dawn. She's my favorite character of all, in fact.

Even if Jessie was on the list, I'd still say Dawn. I just really liked her story and how much character development she got. The only downside is how selfish and self centered she got at the end of the series.

Solidad was awesome, so I voted for her.

Naturally, bullshit wins and first-rounds aside, my choice is obviously HARUKA-CHAN for how much her character developed on her goal of becoming a Top Coordinator. That being said, I still think Hikari's contest route was much better-written, but Haruka was clearly much more affected personally by her contest route.

Anyway, I voted for Dawn and Ursula, because I felt it was the most interesting contest rivalry since both characters were likeable, had things they had to prove themselves. Their second battle still ranks, in my opinion as the best contest battle in the entire series, and I had the strangest feeling while watching it that... I didn't know whom to root for. I wanted equally Dawn and Ursula to win.

Overall, I liked their growth and development, and thought they were incredibly likeable characters.

I voted for May, Drew, and Nando. I loved May and Drew...honestly I don't know why I voted for Nando, I just felt like it. I wish he was shown more though lol

May and Harley were pretty much the only two coordinators I liked. Drew was fine but I saw him as more of an accessory to May's character than anything else.
They can't both be my favorite. That's almost like my pet peeve 'people who say they have more than one best friend'
That's impossible, don't devalue the bf system!

May for the sheer amount of character development she received, way more than any other character, and her awesome appeals.

Drew because he has mad skillz. With a z.

Harley because, well, he's Harley.

And Ursula because she was a great rival and always put up a good fight.

My favorite is Dawn for her growth throughout the series not only in contests but also as a person. I felt extremely sympathetic toward her when she lost those two contests in a row which pretty much cemented my vote for her as favorite character. In addition, I thoroughly enjoyed her combinations and techniques (Flame-Ice, Ice Chandelier, and Sky Attack/Peck specifically) and thought most if not all her wins were fairly earned.

RubyDawn, no doubt. She came in second in her first GF, and developed really well as a character.

I voted for Dawn. I thought she experienced the most Coordinator growth, having lost almost as many times as she won.

If I could vote for Jessie, I would. Because as a coordinator, I had way more interest in her than any of the other characters - yes, even in May's Coordinating days, when I genuinely enjoyed her story as well. I just found her transition from a cheating, incompetent joke of a coordinator to somewhat of a legit threat by the end of BF to a true Coordinator who fairly advanced to top 4 in her first grand festival to be very compelling. Now that's impressive.

It's also cool that she may have had some background knowledge about the professions considering her crush, Astin, wanted to be a coordinator.

I vote for May, she's awesome she did cool things, showed a nice mind and attitude a lot. She caught some of my favorite Pokemon Squirtle, Combusken, Bulbasaur, Munchlax. Her contest battle rounds were amazing, her second contest in which she took on Grace and her Medicham with Beautifly and it did all that,(String Shot being used for an Attack, Silver Tornado) was just cool. She had a very evil rival, Harley. Before she got Squirtle she really put some thought in her appeals. The thing that annoyed me about Suqirtle, Piplup, and Buneary was all the Ice Beam and Bubble appeals we saw. The way she beat Cacturne with Bulbasaur, her battling alongside her friends constantly her cutting it close and Squirtle being the one to beat Banette and earn her her last ribbon in the last chance she had was amazing.
