So who's gotten pokerus before

"Pokerus is a disease that any pokemon can get. It can be caught after battling/catching wild pokemon, and is contagious. Pokerus causes the pokemon with the disease to gain twice as many EV's as it would normally get from fainting wild pokemon. Chances of getting pokerus are supposedly 1/37000."

So who here was lucky enough to get pokerus, and if you did, did you preserve it by infecting others and placing them in your PC box?

I for one got pokerus 15 minutes into diamond. I caught a wild pokemon which had it. And have preserved it ever since. I now have pokerus on heart gold aswell.
 
I have. The first time was in Ruby. I later got it again in Diamond.

The third time I got it was in Platinum, but I managed to preserve it within my PC Pokemon. I also spread it over to my HG game.
 
I got it in Sapphire once. I thought my Pokemon were gonna get weaker and die since it was a virus and I didnt listen to Nurse Joy.
 
My Empoleon in Diamond had it once. Or was it Platinum...? Stupid bad memory.
 
Yeah, Pokérus Ponyta. Caught for a laugh, (I had about 20) and then I look at summery in P.C of all Pokémon and I'm like "Oh my god it's a shiny Pokérus PONYTA!!!!!!"
 
My Pokemon had it last week, I believe I got it after catching a dratini, or one of the many magikarp I defeated trying to find dratini.
 
I have gotten it once on Diamond. I was near i belive the 6th gym, and i randomly found out one of my pokemon had it.
 
I made a GTS trade on Diamond for a Spiritomb that had it, and in HeartGold I got it from the bug catching contest. I still have the Spiritomb in the PC for Diamond and I spread it to my team in HeartGold, along with an extra one that I have the PC for later.
 
I did~ On Ruby before... though I thought it was some type of corruption ^^;; and soft reset the game... Soooo... Now I have nothing XD
 
I've never had it :(! xDU I wanted to get it when I was little but I never got it xDU That virus seemed to be really cool :(! xDU And I want something interesting to happen in my game before complete the league and that stuff xDU
 
I had it in Emerald once. I didn't notice it until it was gone. I only realized that my pokemon had due to the mark it gets after being cured. Someone in the PC might have still have it though.
 
I've never been lucky enough to contract it myself, although I did get a skorupi with it off the GTS once. I messed up somewhere in the preserving process, however, and the live virus has disappeared.
 
From what I've remembered,I got it in Diamond while helping Mira out after going back and getting her to be my final tag partner. Sometime in the cave I decided to look at my Pokemon's stats and noticed that one of them had Pokerus. My immediate reaction was to haul ass out of the cave so I could preserve this.

Then I got it again in Platinum and Soul Silver by chance as well.
 
I've got it in Emerald, Diamond, and SoulSilver. I forgot what I was doing in Diamond and Emerald, but in SoulSilver I got it by grinding outside the Safari Zone. All of those times I made sure to spread it around my team. n_n
 
In now-dead Gold, and then Sapphire. From Sapphire I transferred it to Platinum. I have yet to transfer it to SoulSilver, but that's only a matter of time.
 
I got it once in Sapphire... didn't know what the hell it was and freaked out because I thought my Blaziken was dying. D:
 
I lent my friend my copy of Platinum and 2 mins later all my party Pokemon has Pokerus... That was the first time he had ever played Pokemon.

Same thing happened to me! ...Then he started getting stronger after thinking he'd die :p
