Hi guys, we all hope you're doing well.

Recently some of you may have noticed that CommanderPigg and Dento are no longer on the Anime staff. Both have decided that they would like to be able to spend more time towards their studies at university. They have been fantastic moderators while on the team and it is has been a pleasure to work with the both of them.

In light of these departures, Aestivate has been promoted to a provisional moderator of the Anime section! Aestivate has shown to be level-headed as well as having a friendly attitude on the forums which has lead to her promotion.

I hope you will all join me in wishing the best of luck to CommanderPigg and Dento, as well as to Aestivate in her new postion :party:

Yeah, Piggy and Dento did really well as mods but I agree that they should concentrate more on their studies. :)
 
It's a shame to lose Piggy and Dento as they both did an exemplary job as moderators and were fun to work with, but such is life. I wish nothing but the best to them.

And congratulations Aestivate, you'll make a fantastic addition to the team, I'm sure. :)

Congrats guys. I'm kind of a roving guy but I have experience with this particular forum so if you guys ever need help, let me know.
 
Shame to lose Piggy and Dento, you were both fantastic mods, but it's understandable as university is much more important.

And yay! Congrats Aestivate. :)

Thank you all for the well wishes and congratulations, and a big boo to Dento and Piggu-chan that I won't be able to mod alongside them </3 But mostly a huge thank you to them for being great leaders and mods, and I know I have shoe way too large for me to fill by their absence. ;x

I'll definitely try my best though, no doubt about that!
 
Piggy and Dento will certainly been missed as mods; they're both lovely girls, and I'm grateful to have worked with them. Good luck to you both! :)

And of course, a big congratulations to Aesti who I know will do awesome and will be a blast to work with! :D

Thanks to Piggy and Dento for all their great mod work. You two will be greatly missed; I loved working with you guys. Good luck with school. :)

And a big congratulations to Aestivate! As Iteru said, she has the perfect demeanor to work in this place, and has always been friendly and helpful. I know you'll do a fantastic job and I'm excited to work with you. :)
 
I've always assumed that once you become a moderator, you realize, "Eh, this isn't as great as I thought it would be" simply because you now have to post in a certain way and you feel like you have to watch the entire forum. The forum starts feeling like work instead of fun. So I can see why people step down, they did a great job though.

Although I do find it amusing the recent string of anime mods have all been female. :x

...And the head of the forum and the co-head are both males. What's your point? :p

Just to be clear, Dento and CommanderPigg stepped down because of their extremely challenging university and real life commitments. I'm committed to university work as well, but I think with proper time management, I should still be able to mod effectively.
