Some guy who wants to write stuff

[Serverus Snope]

Hello. I am Serverus Snope McGoggle. Not to be confused with Severus Snape (although the name was spawned out of a badfic's misspelling of his name.) Things about me:

~Been playing Pokemon for over 11 years, ever since Ruby and Sapphire. I even had Blue at one point, but I had no idea how to play it.

~Pokemon I like: I have a strange liking for the Regis... although I have new favorites nowadays. Armaldo has been a favorite for a long time, but I've started really liking Azumarill and Gourgeist recently.

~I'm currently in a Pokemon Tabletop Adventures campaign and I love it. I play a tiny Medic with a liking for Electric-types (and the types that are weak/resistant to Electric.) He travels with a reckless Ace Trainer who steamrolls his way through Gym leaders, a disgruntled Psychic who can force others to do his bidding, a depressed heiress, and a ninja massage therapist.

~Other things I like: World of Warcraft, Steven Universe, Big Hero 6, hilariously bad fanfiction, drawing stuff occasionally (...usually Pokemon characters. I have a DeviantART if you want to see any of them.)

~That list doesn't actually include Maplestory. Despite how cute it looks, I never really got into it for more more than like 3 months at a time.

I joined this community partially to find people who will critique my writing because I get hardly any feedback whenever I write something, positive or negative. Might be because my stories are boring or something, but nobody has really said that to my face yet so I can't be so sure.

I guess I'll be heading over to the Writer's Workshop sooner or later.

I hope to see some of your writing soon. It sounds like you have a good interest in roleplay, as well. I should get back into that kinda thing but I've not found many that appeal to me lately. Drawing is also a great pastime! I'd love to see some of your art at some point.

Also, have you ever heard of Charahub? It's a site that lets you keep fiction/RP character information on file for you and anyone else you send the link to. It also asks various questions about your character to help you flesh them out a little more.

I've used Charahub and several alternatives but I don't really like character list sites. Making a Weebly for that is simpler.

You have nice art! Keep working at it on a regular basis and you'll improve steadily over time.

Hey, welcome to the forums Once thing I've noticed when reading fanfictions is that the more a person writes, the better they become. Personally, I believe that even if you write horrible stories, growth is really what matters, but that's just my opinion. I look forward to seeing you mature as a writer.
