Some questions about the Pokémon Adventures Manga schedule

I started getting into Pokémon Adventures Sun & Moon, but I'm having trouble finding information on it.

How many chapters does a region in the Manga usually last? Tens? Hundreds?

How long between chapters?

How can I check what is being published?

Are the official English translations good?

It varies by series. I can't remember the numbers off of the top of my head (and I really don't want to look them up), but I know the Red/Blue chapter was very short (3 volumes), Yellow was a bit longer I think (maybe 4) , GSC was super long, RS and DP were long, but maybe shorter than GSC. I haven't read past there, I've been meaning to catch up on Adventures for a while, but haven't gotten around to it. I think the chapters might only go up until the around the 30s or 40s per region; never hundreds to my knowledge.

I personally only read the Viz translations, but I believe most people prefer others. I think Viz is decent though.

Fan translations and Viz translations are both really good! But viz is known for waiting months and months
