Hey all, I don't peruse nor contribute to the forums frequently, so you probably don't know me unless you visit IRC. In any case, I recently began getting back into sig making, and now I'm at the point where I don't feel embarrassed sharing a few of them, haha. I'll cut to the chase:
Pokemon:
These were designed to be very similar with only the type and pokemon varying, so please don't call me out on lack of variation on that front. I just wanted to make similar looking ones featuring some of my favorite pokemon from each type. And yeah, the text is a bit bland, might adjust that.
All right, that's all the pokemon ones for now, haha, I swear!
Here's a Clannad sig featuring Furukawa Nagisa, with the text "negai ga kanau basho" (the place where wishes come true) in the corner (it's relevant to the story, I swear). Sparkling and happy.
This one features Ryuuguu Rena from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. It's a dark toned piece of work, which is understandable given the source. The text is just her name.
This next sig features Touwa Erio, one of the main characters from Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko. The green/white text says "chikyuu wa nerawarete iru!" (The earth is being targeted!). Yeah, she's a bit of an alien conspiracy theorist. The text in the bottom corner is just the name of the show.
Last one for now, this is my custom MAL sig. I didn't really like the sig generator on their site, so I wrote a PHP script to automatically update the text based on my history page, and generate this image with the text in between the base and glass layer. It is admittedly a bit cluttered, but the purpose is more to provide information. I tried to make it look at least somewhat presentable. I haven't been on these forums in a while, but I think this one is a bit too wide with the new signature rules (why is there a width limit anyway?
). In any case:
(by the way, if anybody uses MAL, feel free to add me as a friend! My page is lonely).
That's most of my recent stuff, and all I have for now. I'd appreciate comments and criticism, and some suggestions for what to try next time.
