I think the Pokemon Ultra RPG is what you're looking for. I don't know what process you have to go through to actually start battling, but this looks like something that you'd be interested in. Here's a link to get started, apparently: http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/f393/starter-requests-55971/
I know absolutely nothing about this area of the forums, so I can't help you that much. You could probably PM one of the moderators if you're at a complete loss for what to do; I'm sure they'd be willing to help you out. However, I'm sure you'll be fine if you just read the rules, the thread, etc. and jump in!
