Not a very clever pun, but potentially quite the fact.
Dell is spreading the word that many of their portable equipment
may be set up with a faulty lith-ion battery. With a number of
increasing reports on damaged laptops that have either combusted
or exploded. Trying to get a hold of the situation before it spirals
out of control anymore, Dell has taken the liberty to announce a recall.
No word yet on where to specifically acknowledge you have a defective
battery. There has only been a vauge statement that says all batterys
between April 2004 to current date will be taken back by the company.
I'm going to take this seriously as soon as more word comes up on it.
So far I've seen it in the newspaper and on the local news and decided
to look it up online, sure enough I found it through slashdot.
I have a Dell laptop, I guess I should get it checked out before it goes boom...
Has been a little on the warm side every now and then :/.
