Something that bugs me about Pokemon who don't evolve...

Okay, so there's a few Pokemon I love that can never evolve, like Absol, Sigilyph, and Kangaskhan. What bothers me is how nothing explains why they can't evolve. So I was wondering if they just grow up like humans do. Like, say that an Absol is hatched from an egg, are they smaller or something because they're a baby? Or is it just like a child in an adult's body?

Seriously, do they just stay in the exact same shape and size for their whole lives or do they actually just grow up like animals?

Well, in the anime the pokemon can be different size, but idk :I

That is a theory I also thought about the Pokemon that doesn't evolve, where they start from small, so they will eventually grow to size. This would theoretically involve other Pokemon that do not evolve yet have a baby form, namely Snorlax and Wobbuffet.

I say all pokémon have varied sizes and what is listed is just their average appearance.

This isn't just interpretation, it's shown in several places of the games cases like that: Namely the guys that rate fished pokémon and other things.

I would say this applies to evolved pokémon, too. A very young pokémon that quickly evolved would be smaller than a wild, older one.

They grow up like any other life form.

What bothers me is if they are born with their babies in the bag, or what happen with them. It would be like an infinite loop. A Kangaskhan that is born with a child Kangaskhan, who is also born with another more child Kangaskhan...

Also, if there are female only, and they only carry another Kangaskhan... Who do they mate with?

Well, in Pokémon Adventures, Pryce had a baby Lapras that could fit in his hands. But I think this applies to all Pokémon, not just ones that don't evolve. I assume they all start out small and then grow into the heights listed in the Pokedex.

Evolution and growth are differnet. A human baby (or any other animal in fact) does that "evolve" when it turns 10, 18 etc. Besides there could be undiscovered(unreleased) Pokemon that are pre-evos of ones current without them.

I'd assume it is something similar to the baby Lugia from that one anime episode. Not to mention the whole baby Kangaskhan in the pouch thing.
