Something Weird with Crescent Isle

So finally after a while crescent isle appeared and I immediately landed on it and saved. then I remembered that my catching-smeargle wasn't in the front of my team so a re-ordered my party and saved again. I caught cresselia and it was a bad nature so I just reset the game to re-catch it. for some reason I was back at my secret base and crescent isle was gone. It was like it didn't save on the island. Why? Now I have to wait a while again since for some reason it has to be completely random..

ok i saved on crescent isle as well, a couple days ago. haven't had time to play since then, but i'll check for you asap, ok?

EDIT: I checked and I was still on Crescent Isle... So I dunno what's wrong with your game. Either it's a glitch, or you actually saved there and forgot? (though you seem pretty convinced that's where you saved, so it's prolly not that)

Oddly, it doesn't seem like anyone else has this problem...

Well this morning I did my usual routine of checking secret pal abilities, the lottery, and streetpass on buzznav then I noticed the island close to ever grande and was really happy when i saw it was crescent isle. I saved like I stated in my first post.

After seeing that i was back at my base after I reset I checked to see if the island was there and it wasn't. then I though that since it didn't save that I was on crescent isle then it didn't save me checking buzznav (since I know buzznav streetpass can unlock crescent isle too). So I tried checking buzznav again and even after "new mirage spots discovered" it didn't re-appear.

It re-appeared today and I caught it. It was brave so I was about to reset the game when 3 different people were spamming me with battle challenges and I accedentally accepted one and it forced me to save. Now i'm stuck with a brave cresselia :/

I am nuzlocking Alpha sapphire though so I can catach another cresselia in that. Though i'm nuzlocking it, certain pokemon (mainly legends) I'm catching and transferring to Omega ruby, regardless of the rules.
