Soul's name

Kotone's probably one of her defaults like Hiroki is for Gold.

We can't assume anything until the games themselves are released. Not even with her anime counterpart can we assume, as remember, Gold's anime counterpart uses Jimmy/Kenta, not even found in the defaults. Same with Marina. Nowhere in Kris's defaults.

Just wait. I will add Kotone in as one of the possibilities.

Edit: Also, keep in mind, was Dawn named Mitsumi? No. Completely separate character even though they wore the same clothes. Trust nothing, no page moves, until we have had the game out and pored through its code.

Well, It could be Marina. She did say she wanted to be a "Idol"
Maybe she became one sense the beginning of DP(last we seem here) and change her hair and clothes. Or it could be a Hannah Montana kinda situation.

I'm convinced she will, only because I'm positive no one really knows what to do with her. Even GameFreak.

....Starting to think she's more trouble that she's worth?

Anyway, I'm all for waiting for the games, then comparing to the anime, and if the games don't jive with the anime....we admit we are screwed, and that we are sorry.
 
Besides, even if she appears in the anime with the name Kotone, we'll have the same situation as we do with people like Gary and Barry.

7 hours 56 minutes 18 seconds till the games come out. then we can end this damned debate.
 
I never said to move the page yet, in fact I always shared TTE's thought to wait for the game. I think Kotone should redirect to Soul's page for now and be mentioned as a possible name, though.

Either way, I don't think the (already ridiculous) idea that Soul/Kotone and Kris/Marina are the same person can really be taken seriously anymore.

Ryuu... you need to calm down. A lot.
