This post is a questionnaire regarding the direction of the story. This will be the first questionnaire of the Queensfall series and the replies may have either a positive or negative impact on the developing plot. If there were more writers in the story I'd leave the -= RISK =- details up to them, but unfortunately it seems that I'm the only writer, so to get outside input I'll host these questionnaire to better develop the story as it unfolds.
The answer I'm seeking is simply whether the character Tregrenos is having a Dream or a Nightmare. The details to Tregrenos' character can be found in the Sign-Ups listed in my signature, but to sum it up he is the now living embodiment of the world destroyer MissingNO. MissingNO., in this timeline, is a being composed of the original empty space that existed before reality. Through the events in the land of Foran and what transpired in the land of Yewer he has been reborn into a living body, no longer compelled to madness through the ceaseless voices of the void and experiencing what life is like as an individual for the first time. With his mortal body comes a need to rest, allowing him to dream. This is his explanation...
Any votes or opinions will be taken into account for the direction this character is going. Though he is no longer compelled by the voices Tregrenos has always seen himself as a villain and existance as his stage. It's this long belief that compels him to break the fourth wall in situations such as this.

In my dream, if this is a dream, I see a canine, lupus familiaris. This 'Watch Dog', if I might call it such as its role is to merely 'watch', oversees the incarceration of a menagerie of other beast. The various creatures spanning from all walks of life are imprisoned within cages far too small for their individual builds to move about. The beasts, many surrounding the Watch Dog, seem rather content to their confinements. The Watch Dog, however, shows concern for the menagerie, yet is unable to do anything other than 'watch'.
More beast in more cages appear around the canine before the Watch Dog realized that he, himself, had become trapped. The cages piled around him, causing the dog to panic. He circled his ever diminishing prison of cages until he found himself unable to move. Finally, as the last cage is hoisted and dropped upon the helpless Watch Dog, the dream ends.
