Story of Yewer RISK Chapter "Lost, in The Woods"
In "The Story of Yewer" there is a RISK factor where if someone calls RISK they relinquish control of the stated characters for other writers to use them within the context of the personal RISK rules. Introduced into the story as the first RISK is a horrid Pokemon, a "Corrupted" that has no set name but it's powers appear to be that of a shape shifter. "Corrupted" are both Native and Foreign Pokemon who have been corrupted by the remaining influence of the late "Missing One". (MissingNO.)
"Corrupted" have varying stages of corruption, but this particular RISK has become completly ingulfed by the corruption. It is an unthinking, powerful force of rage that hunts anything of noticeable strength. It's target now is a tribe of ape-like Pokemon. It's assumed the form of an Infernape, Cirsacief, the son of my main Native character U'sung. She witnessed the beast beating him to death, slinging him like a rag doll before tossing his lifeless body at her. She has tracked the beast back to her tribe, which she assumed was another Infernape that had driven off the Mankey based upon the change in the tracks, but is now faced against the beast who mimics her sons face and body with her only backup being a crippled Primape.
This is where you come in.
How will this confrontation play out? Your votes will determine the story from this moment forth. You can choose to answer some of the topics or all of them. Be elaborate with your answers or simply list how you'd like the story to play out.
1) Action
How will U'sung respond to seeing the beast who now wears her sons face?
A- Flee (Unable to face the beast U'sung falls back to protect her young daughter Epho.)
B- Fight (Though the beast emits a stink that causes fear in those around U'sung is too infuriated at what the beast has done.)
2) PoV
From what perspective will the story focus?
A- U'sung (U'sungs perspective is that of heavy emotions. Though hardened by the land of Yewer she was still a mother that had just watched her son being beaten to death.)
B- Beast (The Beasts perspective will give insight into what it is and how it thinks.)
C- 3rd Person (The 3rd Person perspective will focus more on the physical actions taking place.)
3) Theme
The theme song of the conflict will effect the tone in which the story is told. Feel free to submit songs that fall under your chosen category for story inspiration. In the prelude story "A World Without Legends" I would occasionally post the song that inspired the chapter to better relate what I was seeing to the reader.
A- Symphonic (The theme will gradually raise in intensity, ending on a climactic note. The tone is that of strength.)
B- Rock (The theme will focus on intensity from beginning to end. During the middle {guitar solo} focus will shift heavily on the chosen PoVs thoughts and actions. The tone is that of ferocity.)
C- Gothic (A combination of A and B with the story taking a darker tone.)
4) Ending
How will the story end?
A- U'sung/Tribe (U'sung and/or her tribe will overcome the beasts strength.)
B- Beast (Sometimes people just wanna see the world burn and the villain win.)
C- Mystery Guest (Plot twist.)
The results will not be announced here. I will post when I write the story and request that this topic be closed at that time.
Feel free to jump into the story if your interested in exploring this dangerous land and unraveling the mystery of the Foreign presence, corruption, mechanical hybrids called "Torments" and the yet to be announced whereabouts of Meloetta from "A World Without Legends".
I look forward to working with you.
