Spam question?

Hi, I can't really find the answer to this anywhere....

If I wanted to ask for moderators for my website and I made a thread about it in a random chatter forum, would it count as spam?

I think you'd be best to put the ad in your sig, but, you might want to ask a mod to be sure.

Yes, it would be spam. Advertising can be done in your sig, but not in a post proper.
