I wonder what it'll be about? Maybe some more info on the Fairy type? More info on the movie coming out? Maybe some new Pokemon? I'm personally hoping for anything but new Pokemon. New Pokemon are getting old.

Seems really sudden...I'm not sure what to make of that, though....

But then again it could air in a couple days, in which case its not so sudden.

It would be nice if they could have expanded on when exactly we'll get to see this, rather than an annoying and extremely vague "stay tuned". Not quite sure what to expect from this message though, it could be anything. Just gonna have to wait and see what it is when it arrives.

I don't think it would be anything too minor since then there would be no reason to devote a special announcement for it, so I'm expecting something that will get our attention to at least some extent. My best guess is that it's related to the new Fairy typing but it could also be finally unveiling the long coveted legendary typings that they've been holding off on.

I hope it means they've moved the release date to much earlier date, September 2013, because everything is going well :D

What if they're finally announcing the Team Something-totally-not-a-syndicate-style-team-really or Xerneas and Yveltal's type? Those two things are long overdue by this point.

About the Fairy type, I doubt it that we are getting the match ups later. This is details and this are appearing to be something of CoroCoro.
-If there's the seocnd forme of Mewtwo (who I have thought it was ditched) or a evolution of Sableye, yes. But never a only-movie information about the movie. That doesn't request a message of Masuda.
-It could be a new pokemon but I think that this only applies well if there were the first event pokemon of XY.

The evil team is unlikely, but not impossible.
-The types of Xerneas and Yveltal is the ideal scenario. They are the mascot of the game, after all. And the types was hiding for more than 5 months. This scremas an announcement from Game Freak.

One note:
-If the announcement not pop up during the US day, you can go to 2ch and see if Pokemon Fan is leaked (is expected to leak tomorrow).
Although Fan isn't a source of revealing XY informationl, in case of the announcement meant to be between now and July 1st (when Fan is released) Fan could have the info of the announcement inside it.

I'm hoping that he'll cover more about the Fairy type. I'd really like to know what else it is strong against, if it is immune to Dragon types and what weaknesses it has. New Pokemon are always nice too. I'd like something on the evil team, but that might be saved for Coro Coro instead of a special message. Still, it should be something interesting if they announced this special message like this.

Well, this is... vague.

Since this is kind of different from the usual modes of news reveal, I feel like we'll be getting something unexpected, but who knows.
 
I hope it might be something like they have figured out how transfers from gen 5 will work and are confirming they will be available and describing any app that might be involved.
 
Interestingly, as per Serebii and Bulbagarden, X/Y will be at the WHF:

The Japanese pokemon twitter account makes no mention of Masuda's message (though Masuda did RT it). So it's probably him telling us whatever news there will be at the WHF.
 
It will probably be soon, since they won't want people to get overanxious. But as for what it is, there are a ton of possibilities. He may fill in the gaps from the original trailer, or maybe reveal something new and unexpected. I'm hoping for another gym leader or some Pokemon evolutionary chains to be filled in. Pokemon such as Helioptile do not seem like they would not evolve.

Although now seriously, considering the nature of it, I doubt it is details on something they already announced (i.e. explained Fairy type, types of legendaries) or something like new pokémon.
So I think that he is going to talk about a not yet disclosed feature, specially something that'd make so much sense to tell those following the games already as it is compatibility with Gen V. They mentioned it without the feature being ready (at whichiever stage) to announce it, after all.

I guess another posiblity is talking about this, but the BW demos didn't get that much hype so I don't know.
 
What about features we've heard about briefly that haven't been expanded on? Like Real Play.

Considering the tweet states the message is for 'Pokémon X and Pokémon Y fans', I'm going to assume it's something rather important about the games functionality/gameplay rather than any story or details about any Pokemon in particular, unless it's the new Fairy-type.
 
When wilk this message be posted? Hopefully it is a new type ( other than fairy) lok thats impossible.

Didn't they say something similar about the (late to outside of Japan) reveal of the new Mewtwo form though?
