Speedrun of Pokémon Puzzle League to feature in the Retrothon 2026 speedrun marathon this coming Thursday

The team at RetroGamingLive are presenting the 2026 edition of Retrothon from April 18th to April 26th. This marathon will run around the clock for the duration and feature a variety of retro games, including a speedrun of Pokémon Puzzle League. The event can be watched from its Twitch channel as well as on their YouTube.

Retrothon is a series of speedrunning events dating back to 2018. While the team has hosted charity events, Retrothon has typically been held simply as a showcase. They have also held various other themed events, such as Shmuptemper (dedicated to shoot-em-ups), Halloween Horror (for horror or otherwise scary games), and the Coin-Op Classic (for arcade games, and their next oldest event after Retrothon).
