This is really surprising. Thursday night (tomorrow) at 10 PM (eastern time), all of the major Viacom-owned stations (BET, CBS, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV, MTV2, Spike TV and VH1) will debut the trailer, along with several related websites (AddictingGames.com, AddictingClips.com, BET.com, MTV.com, IFILM.com, Nick.com, ComedyCentral.com, GameTrailers.com, LOGOonline.com, Neopets.com, SpikeTV.com, The-N.com, VH1.com, and Xfire.com).

That's...geez. Not surprising that it would get so much attention considering the success of the first two, but it's a massive (and, supposedly, unprecedented) effort. Certainly gives everyone in any country plenty of options to view the trailer. And I'm sure it'll show up on YouTube not long after.

Original source.

Woah, they really want everyone to know about this one. I know i'll have my TV tuned in at the proper time.

A trailer for a movie not appearing for another 8 months?

*shrugs*

As long as there's a proper shot of Venom this time, i'll be happy.

About five minutes before the official debut, I found the HD version of the trailer on iFilm.

And apparently the info was screwy, apparently it was debuting AROUND 10 eastern on most of the channels. Comedy Central's the only one to nail it at 10.

I have to say...kind of a letdown. The last one was just awesome. This one? Meh. No Gwen Stacy. No Venom (plenty of Eddie Brock, though). The origin of the costume (what I assume is the origin) is kinda crappy, as is Sandman. And Harry's suit is...lame (although better than the armor his dad wore). All told...not boding well for the full version.

Holy crap. Great find. Venom looks great, but I'm still not digging Harry's outfit. Looks more like Rocket Racer (can't find a link to the real one) than any other Goblin.

'cause the Power Ranger in Spidey 1 was so close to the Green Goblin too. :p

I'm personally more glad he's like a ninja surfer.

It IS better than the armor, but that's not saying much. It's like saying someone smells better than cow crap.

See? That would have been a MUCH better trailer. Would have actually impressed me. Although just showing Eddie Brock as more than fascinated with Spider-Man would have been good enough. Venom's just icing.
