Well, I still haven't finished writing the whole thing. But anyway, there's Advance and StrikingIce, in flashbacks... Mainly I've just written it for fun, but please do give me a review.

“I understand Agatha is sick, but there’s no way you’ll convince her to resign.”
“Bruno, this is serious. Her arthritis is getting worse, she can’t even throw a Poke Ball, and her lungs are running on a steel tank of oxygen. You expect her to take on this little snot in the last term of the Autumn Semester?”
“Agatha can handle it. You can’t expect her to not take him on. If anything would make her happier than seeing her granddaughter again, it would be to defend the whole League’s title in the condition she’s in.”
“She can go back to Frio for the holidays…”
“No.”
Lorelei sighed with frustration. The brisk mid-autumn air sent shivers around her shoulders and blew her flowing red ponytail to the side. Snow would hit Viridian City soon. Lorelei was a thin woman with red hair and glasses. She was in her mid-twenties and currently the first bearer of the Indigo’s League’s Elite Four first position. She sat outside the Vermillion City Pokemon Center on a picnic table, seated across from Bruno with a paper cup of coffee in front of her. She was wearing dark denim jeans and a black zip-up hoodie sweatshirt with brown beenie. Her long red ponytail flowed in the wind as she stared down at the coffee in front of her.
“I’m sorry Bruno. The last of her family is still there. Right now, we’re the closest thing we she has. You understand my view, right?
Bruno nodded. Bruno was a large and muscular man with midnight hair, tied back in a ponytail almost as long as Lorelei’s. Lorelei usually only saw him training in his usual clothes, a martial arts uniform exposing his dark and muscular chest, but for now he was wearing a brown winter jacket. With the temperature slowly falling in Kanto, the holiday season was approaching quickly. The Fall Semester for the Elite Four was ending, and a last-minute challenger named Green was registered to challenge the Elite Four before the end of the month.
“Abigail and Amber can take care of her. It’s…”
Lorelei sighed deeply and her warm breath felt drastic against the chilly wind that kept her hands cold. Her thoughts were just as drastic and warm.
“Her dying wish is to see her granddaughter again.”
Lorelei glanced back down at the table. A cold gust of wind hit the side of her face as a single tear rolled down her cheek. She felt Bruno brush his hand across her face. It seemed almost impossible that such a large and gruff person he was had the personality of Lorelei’s dream man. More tears slowly began to form in her auburn eyes and flow past her nose. Bruno held a concerned expression. He knew Lorelei and Agatha were close friends. He tried to think of something to take her mind off Agatha’s sickness.
“Have you heard any news about the Rockets in Floe?”
Lorelei looked up at him. She made a whining noise and ran her fingers through her hair.
“You had to say that? God Bruno, I swear, if I see any damn Rockets in Floe…”
She clenched her fists.
“Calm down, I was just trying to make conversation. How long will you be gone?”
“Four months, just until I’ve sorted things out there. I’ll be back in March at the earliest.”
Bruno stared ironically at her.
“You’re leaving me and Lance to pull off a holiday?”
A faint smile spread across Lorelei’s face.
“I… Of course not. Erika’s coming up from Celadon to figure something out,” Lorelei continued, “But let Agatha be included. If you won’t let her go back to Frio, she needs to at least have fun…”
Bruno looked exasperated.
“LET her go back to Frio?? You’d be forcing her! There’s one challenger left on the list, the last challenger of the semester! If she can take him down in this condition… How do you know to see Abigail and Amber again is really her dying wish?”
“BECAUSE SHE TOLD ME,”
Lorelei shouted as she clutched her collar, inviting the gaze of a few nosy passers-by,
“She told me it’s what she wants. Last night at the League… You and Lance had left, I was leaving, and I heard her… I saw her, she was taking off her oxygen tubes… I stopped her, I stopped her from doing it, she told me she doesn’t have anything left and the last thing she could think of she wanted to do before she died was to say goodbye to her granddaughter and sisters…”
Bruno slowly understood the situation. Lorelei didn’t want to be in Kanto if Agatha were to pass away. She was taking a break form the Elite Four and going to Floe Island, taking a long rest in her hometown. He glanced back over to her, tears falling from her face in the silent kind of crying that was easily recognizable as complete dejection and lost hope. The next thing he knew she was buried into his chest, crying and hugging him in the middle of the town.
“We’ll see what we can do. Don’t worry, I promise, we’ll get her to Frio for the holidays.”
A light snow began to fall over Vermillion City. A pewter sky of overcast clouds and the bitter wind that whispered through the buildings of the Vermillion Coast showed that fall was ending and the Winter Solstice was approaching. A foghorn blew in the distance as smoke billowed from the S.S. Rhine in the harbor.
“I have to get going. Bruno?”
He looked into her eyes and knew what was coming. Lorelei put her arms around his neck and leaned slowly in to kiss him. For about a minute the two stood there in the middle of the city, until the second foghorn blew and Lorelei boarded the ship. The S.S. Rhine pulled out of the Vermillion harbor and departed into the ocean.
Four years later a young man and woman traveling through the Frio region received a letter in a gray envelope from Abigail Sable.
