After taking over New York, the villain Splice is now going to take San Francisco and it's zoo as his base, with the aid of OP. Can Bellerophron and his ally Pathos stop him?

Bellerophon was sitting on a bench in San Francisco zoo, licking a strawberry flavored ice cream.
The hero leaned on the bench and sighed. "Where the hell is Pathos? I sent him a letter to meet me here..."

A jet came closer and closer to the ground with every passing moment. It hit the earth in a large clearing. Sparks flew from it as it dragged along the ground. It screeched, pieces of metal flying off the bottom. As it finally stopped, the hatch flew open and a buff man, with dark brown hair and beard, stepped out. "Come along Clyde," he said as he stretched out his arms. Pure white wings, popped out of his back.

A redheaded woman in a white cloak slid smoothly next to Bellorophon on the bench. Smirking, Pathos said, "I'm a woman, actually. You rang?"

"I'm coming, I'm coming." OP says, holding his sword in it's sheathe as he steps out as well. "So which way to the zoo, o fearless leader?"

"Heheh, funny, you said you're a woma--" Bellerophon suddenly stopped as he glanced over the girl in white cloak that sat next to him. Now he feels like a total idiot for calling a woman a 'he'
"Err... I'm sorry." Bellerophon shrugged. "So.. Umm.. Pathos, right? Let me get straight to the point. The villain 'Splice' had taken over New York, and planning to use this zoo as their base. Typical villain huh? So.. Umm.. If you please.. Let's save this city together."

Bellerophon always wanted to be recognized as a hero, and after working with the Hero 'Mega Neko' and 'Shift' he began to feel... Helpless.
As a man with super strength and speed, he couldn't stop the Black Mist, and Shift and Mega Neko saved the day. This is his only chance to be recognized as Hero by the society.

"Would you quit calling me that?" asked Splice, grabbing OP by the wrist. He ran forward, his wing beginning to flap. He shot into the air, but quickly began to slow down. "We left the dog didn't we..." he mumbled.

Pathos turned away from Bellerophon, looking out at all the civilians muddling about in the zoo, unaware of the coming battle. Children laughed and ran about, exasperated parents groaned and yelled admonishments, workers rolled their eyes and carried on with their jobs. So utterly mundane. And yet...

Pathos closed her eyes and smiled softly, before turning back to Bellerophon. "What kind of question is that? If you'll pardon the cliche: let's do this." She stood suddenly, and pulled out a black and white mask from her cloak. "What's the plan?"

"Someone needs to keep watch of New York." OP says, looking up from the book he was reading as Splice flew him around.

Meanwhile, in New York, Mr. Chips led some of the beastmen in a choreographed ballet.

"That's the spirit." Bellerophon smirked. "But first..... I wanna ask you something. Trust, is the key of good teamwork and combination. Do you trust me?"

Pathos's smile vanished instantly. Looking off into the distance, she paused, before answering, "I'll trust that you'll get the job done. Fair enough?"

The two landed in the middle of a road, a few blocks from the zoo. People watched on in surprise and fear. Around his neck was a chain ending with a razor sharp tooth. He grabbed the fang, and his gene splicer instantly turned on. A green liquid flowed through tubes connecting the splicer to his arm.His body began to transform until the abomination was complete. His once human appearance had been replaced by an anthropomorphic wolf with hawk like wings. Subtlety had never been his strong suit...

"Fair enough." Bellerophon got up, he took out a communicator from his pocket, and put it at the bench. "Call me if something happens. We're going to split up, looking for Splice and OP. I think I heard people screaming a few blocks way from here."

Pathos smirked. "I'll follow your lead," she said, and picked up the communicator. "But I must admit I prefer working alone." Slipping her mask on and wrapping a black scarf around the lower half of her face, she pocketed the communicator, and quickly headed towards the screaming.

Right in front of Pathos, OP slashed a security guard's head clean off, wielding the offending weapon in one hand, and a copy of Atlas Shrugged in the other.

Pathos narrowed her eyes, which began to glow all the more brightly. Wordlessly, she dropped two knives into her hands from her cloak sleeves, and charged OP.

Watching her over the cover of his book, OP had been prepared. He was smart enough to know a superhero when he saw one, and a mask and body armor screamed annoying do-gooder. Likewise, he knew how to really annoy them. Which was why he expected her to charge at him, and why he had a plan. He threw the 1000+ page novel. This, however, was a distraction. Choosing to use his weapon's superior length, as the book careened towards her face OP drew back his blade and thrust it at her, his whole body following through on the swing.

Pathos easily swung her left arm up to deflect the novel, though the weight of it jarred her arm. OP's follow up attack, however, blindsided her, and she threw herself backwards onto the ground, managing to escape with only a cut on her right arm.

Backing up, Pathos cursed mentally. The enemy had gotten her dominant arm. Smarter than I thought, aren't you... She sheathed her combat knives, and drew a trio of throwing knives. A ranged advantage would be a slight help against a sword user. As she grew tenser, the glow in her eyes instinctively intensified once more. Gritting her teeth, Pathos forced her powers down. Not yet...

"Ya know, I actually should have my own movie, titled 'The Incredible Bellerophon.'" Bellerophon muttered under his breath.
Using his super speed, he ran towards OP, flicking his golden brass knuckle, attempting to knock a teeth from the Villain's mouth.
