Spliced III: The Galapagos Isles

Splice stood at a small counter line with various equipment. He was currently in the lab underneath his San Francisco base. A few of his beast-men were down there with him a pack of wolf hybrids to guard his experiments and some primate hybrids as simple minded lab assistants. He slid his gauntlet shaped gene splicer on to his right forearm, and connected the tubes into his bloodstream. He put on a belt with compartments for small phials of animal DNA. He stepped into an elevator and i lowly rose up towards the surface. As it reached ground level he stepped out and walked towards the former parking lot. He had converted it into a small runway. Parked at the end was the plane he and OP had hijacked to come to San Francisco in the first place. Considering it crash landed the first time around it did require some repairs, but it was now prepared to fly again.

The wind tousled Bellerophon's golden hair as his sea green eyes looked straight at the empty street. his red scarf flutters in the wind as he forced his Harley Davidson motorcycle to go faster. The platinum lion head on his armor suit glistened under the sun, so bright, so he had to narrow his eyes. His mind, however, was not focused on the street.

Splice, and OP. Just hearing the name makes the hero wants to run to the nearest guy he could find and rip off his head, out of anger. They were right there, right in front of his eyes. But why, he couldn't stop them from taking over the New York zoo.

Teamwork. They're acting as a team, not as individual. That's what makes them so damn good. Bellerophon need-- no, he must cast aside his ego for just a little while and work as a team with the other heroes, Blazing Auburn and Demon Hand.

Bellerophon-- Lars, grunted as the figure of a woman flashed through his mind. A woman, with black, long hair that reaches her waist, and purple eyes that seems to pierce right through the soul. Julia, his lover.
She used to work at the Alexanderson Mansion as a maid, but not anymore.
Lars' mind galloped back to the night when they became lover, bathing in the cool blue moonlight in Lars' balcony. That day, Lars had just saved London from Black Mist, with the help of Shift and Mega Neko.

With a sigh, Lars stopped his Harley in front of the nearest coffee shop, taking out his new phone(Black Mist destroyed his old phone.) And called his ally, Demon Hand. If he ask how he managed to get his number, Lars' answer would be: 'because I'm so rich.'

"Clyde!" he shouted, looking for his only true comrade in his rising "empire". Most of the time Splice couldn't stand any of Origin's ridiculous actions, but he had proved to be a important teammate. He pulled a small black device of of his belt and spoke into it. "Where in the hell are you?" he asked sending OP the message. He was growing impatient he told the others to meet him at eleven o'clock sharp. He rose his wrist and looked down at the gene splicer. He had planned thoroughly about what animals would be best suited for the mission. Unfortunately originally the zoo had no wolf enclosure. What kind of zoo doesn't have wolves. He destroyed the Kangaroo enclosure and installed one. "God I hate Australia..." he growled, as the thoughts ran through his head.

OOC:Crimson Knight tried to stop them in New York, Bellerophon tried to stop them in San Francisco.,

OoC: san Francisco? I thought Bellerophon faced Splice in New York Zoo..

Clyde jumped, hearing Splice call his name inside his lab he had set up in the security desk, and quickly dashes over, zipping up his pants and falling through the door.
"Sup?" He asks from the floor, as Mr. Chips wanders in, eating some chips.

"We bringing the dog?" asked Splice. They had left Mr. Chips to watch the New York base on the later mission, but now with the surplus of mutants...and their unplanned breeding, the bases barely required any protection from Splice or OP. "I was planning on bringing the Alpha Wolves, but I doubt it will be necessary." He turned to the plane his eyes shifting from side to side. "Have you heard from Icira, she should be here by now," he asked, glancing back towards his comrade.

Her features concealed by a hooded black cloak she had bought just for the occasion, Icira Witherflame strolled up behind Splice, wondering if he would even notice. Also hidden beneath the flowing fabric were a stun laser, holstered at her side, and her trusty frying pan, strapped to her back. She had no idea if they would do her any good, but her new henchman was not yet ready for this sort of mission, so she needed to work with what she had.

"Am I late?" she asked in a low voice. "I do apologize, darling. My Goons had a little problem—the cleanup was a nightmare."

Splice's senses had picked up Icira long before she had spoken. "Didn't bring any of them? In the middle of deciding if we should do the same. The stronger ones do tend to get a little out of control," he said, turning around only on the last sentence. He rarely ever brought the minions, he was beginning to question their use in the earlier parts of the master plan.

Icira shook her head.

"My troops require additional training before I can bring them on large-scale missions like this," she explained. "At their current skill level, I believe they would simply get in the way. Plus, I don't know if they might quarrel with your own minions. Let me put my vote forward for bringing those—if we get backed into a corner, we can find strength in numbers."

"Don't worry, I have Mr. Chips!" OP says, standing up as the weird Chewbacca-reject dog thing walks over, patting Icira on the head. "Also a sword. This is in the bag! Check it:" He says, showing off a strange necklace: It looked like a transparent tile, with a reddish-black spot in the middle. "Got it from my last fight."

"When was the last time you were in a fight?" asked Splice, studying the tile. He'd seen plenty of weird things lately, the necklace could be anything.

"Remember? I tried to recruit that ninja chick. Ended up killing some dude and burning some stuff down. Killed some loser with wings." OP says, examining the tile.

"Oh yeah Black Mist, wish she had joined. Her files made her out to be quite a badass," Splice said, remembering OP's recruiting attempts, "Well on the minion matter, I say we bring the Alpha Squad, but only bring them to fight as a last resort." He took the device from earlier and clicked a button. A high pitched frequency rang through the airs. A small group of mutants came rushing towards the plane. Remus, a large anthropomorphic wolf, stood in front of the others. Lion, hawk, python, and tiger mutants stood behind him.

"Whatever, furry. All you need is me. Check it out," Clyde says, flexing his muscles. "I got me some WMDs right here. And Mr Chips..." He says, as Mr. Chips chased a butterly. "He...Um...He does stuff. Sometimes."

"We're bringing them," replied Splice, "They'll stay in the plane, but we might need them." He doubted they'd even come into the fight, but the plane too needed protection. If it were destroyed getting back would be a lot more of a hassle. "Anyone need anything else?" he asked looking at the three. He had spent time preparing in the lab, but his comrades might not have done the same.

"I think I'm good to go," Icira said. "I could maybe use something to take notes with, but otherwise, let's get moving."

This was her first mission in which she was not the mastermind. It would be an interesting challenge to try walking in a minion's shoes for a change.

OoC: excuse me, but where is Demon Hand and Blazing Auburn?

OOC:probably waiting until the villainous part of their mission actually starts.

Splice walked into the plane. It was a small passenger jet, only enough seats to fit ten or so people. "Clyde, you know how to fly this thing right?" asked Splice. OP did have a lot of experience with computers, so he was much better suited for the job.
