Sprites for the protagonists.

I've noticed there's a lack of sprites for May, Brendan, Dawn and Lucas compared to Red and Leaf. The intro and ending sprites.

Is that on purpose or..?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think he means the sprites shown during the opening of the Pokemon games.

Last I checked...

Yeah. No. May and Brendan have no intro/ending sprites. Lucas and Dawn are arguable, though the sprites used in the intro are the ones from the opening... Only Red, Leaf, and Blue seem to have different sprites.
