Some spritework I'll be posting, mostly for reference in The World Of Pokémon. They'll mostly just be recolors.

Recolor of Generation V sprite.
"Pokédex" info:
Legends say it's a predecessor of another. It is said to have traversed the bottom of the ocean.

Recolor of HG/SS sprite.
Pokédex info:
Even rarer than the rumored green Mewtwo, this is one of its kind. It has seemingly unlimited psychic power.

Recolor of HG/SS sprite.
Bio:
Always happy and ready for battle, Lop stands in at 4'03" with really long ears.

Recolor of Generation V sprite.
Recolored the arms and torso to match its head and legs.
Expect more eventually. Feel free to request recolors, but I'll need reference if it's an OC.

Neat! Though I was only able to see the Meloetta and Lopunny sprites, but I'm sure the other two are cool as well.

I did two more.

Recolor of Gen V sprite.
Pokédex Info:
The mythical Pokémon Jirachi's brother, it is said to be able to grant any wish. Other legends say it and its brother often worked together to win battles.

Recolor of Gen V sprite.
Pokédex Info:
A titan created from metals harvested deep in the world. It is often heard that if this Pokémon were active, it would eat the metal of modern cars and buildings.
Stay tuned and all that jazz.

I really like the gradient you used on Registeel! The white and gold color scheme you used is aesthetically pleasing.

What tool do you use to make your edits, and what is your usual method? I used to mess around with fire emblem sprites a lot and I used to have a lot of fun with it.

Honestly... Microsoft Paint. I use combinations of the pencil and paint bucket.

That's extremely impressive for regular ms paint! I used to struggle with it so badly.. I'd honestly check out a program that lets you work in layers.

Screenshot I use paint.net and I have for several years now and I find it to be a super convenient easy program to work with layers on because you can set the layer transparency and it makes it much easier to line things up.

There are other fun tools you can use to spice things up if you're willing to experiment too and you can blend layers together really well with it.

That bling Registeel ( o3o)b hang it on some Steeix with a Regice

Small addition, but even so, now there's Artist's Notes and cries, as well as category!

LJ5p2ij.png

Pokédex Info:
Giratina, the Loyalty Pokémon
"This Pokémon is said to be very loyal to its Creator. Some legends tell that it became a fallen angel."
Artist's Notes:
I thought having an angelic Giratina would be a good contrast with the common fan-theory of Giratina being a fallen angel. Plus he looks cool~
Cry: Probably an angelic-sounding version of Giratina's existing cry.

Pokédex Info:
Thundurus, the Storm Bringer Pokémon
"When black clouds fill the sky and powerful lightning strikes, you know this Pokémon has appeared."
Artist's Notes:
I guess it isn't so much an ancient Thundurus as, well, just another kind. Even so, maybe he's more powerful or something. He DOES have dark clouds as opposed to regular ol' Thundurus.
Cry: Loud thunder and electric noises, followed by brief rain.

Enjoy.
