There's only going to be one CGI movie in the whole game, the intro.

Really? I thought it would be something like Metroid Prime Hunters.

To do these wonderful scenes, they're harnessing the power of both
screens and dedicating all the GPU to the top one I believe (since it's the one with higher resolution).

However, the other screen turns completely off to maintain the power.
At that sacrifice, you do pull off some awesome CGI!

Rather ingenious of them, hopefully it will set precedent.

No, they said in Nintendo Power that more than one cinema would "pull players out of the story" too much, so the only one is going to be the first one.

Of course, really the issue is space and such.

well... I wouldn't say that's set in stone. A lot of that video is new, so if it was used only for the intro it'd end up being very long.

The game also was recently delayed, so I'm thinking there could very well be sprinks of video in it. The size isn't as much an issue as you'd think because the size of the DS carts are Huge compared to N64. Infact, Rockman ZX has lots of cut scenes and full voiced works, so its more of an issue of money. Most developers (even Nintendo) like to use significantly lower budgets on portibles. That's also why PSP is getting so many ports, its expensive to develop for otherwise.
