Anyone here still play this?

Can't let you post that Magmortar.

I haven't played in a while.

From time to time.

"DO A BARREL ROLL!"

I have never gotten that quote. What's so special about it, anyway? Why make it the flagship quote of that game?

I prefer the original Star Fox myself. The Andross Space Armanda was so badass in that game. Also, it had great levels Sector Y, Out of this Dimension, Macbeth, the Venom Sky Tunnel, THE AWESOME BLACK HOLE, just to name a few. None of them really sucked either.

Not much, except for how cool it sounds. Really, people think Peppy says it all the time, but he only does once or twice throughout the whole game (in the Landmaster stages, he switches to "To barrel roll, press R or Z twice!")

This is still my favorite of the Star Fox games. Assault had better multiplayer, but was lacking in the single-player department, and Command... yeah. Also, Adventures... yeah. I personally would have liked to see that title remain an original IP rather than have Arwing stages tacked on, Krystal's role reduced and Fox transplanted as the main character. And I haven't played the original, although I always meant to.

But I digress. I think what I like best about 64 is its branching stages. You go to the same place, but have so many ways to get there. Plus it has the unlockable Landmaster/Pilot modes fo multiplayer, and unlockables always make me happy.

I can't really explain why I don't like Command's branching structure as much as 64's. I guess it's because you just pick your path instead of trying to do something to earn it; plus, Command has much more story, and the writing is pretty melodramatic at times, especially with the endings where Krystal goes from being in love with Fox (again) to dumping him and joining Star Wolf (again). Still, at least we finally got to play as characters other than Fox in the single-player mode.

YES!! SF fanantics!! Sweet!!!~ XD Star Fox64 is automatic Epic Win.

Star Fox, is by far, the second-best Nintendo game ever created. Period.
