(This is going to be a casual role play and it is not required to know a ton about Star wars or to stay within the borders of cannon)
Sometime after episode 2 but before episode 3, rumors spread throughout the galaxy about a long lost academy of the force. But details are hard to come by and no one has been able to pin down the location of this mysterious place. The reason why is simple, it is because this lost Academy exists on an alternate level of reality.
Any being with a strong connection to the force can transmit a "copy" of themselves to the altrernate dimension. The area around the lost Jedi Academy is said to be thick with jungle and unreachable by normal travel.
The Jedi and the Republic want to gain access to this mystical place in order to recover its ancient knowledge and learn about its mysterys. The Sith and Sepratists goal is to dominate this new land and gain its power. However, neither side can commit many forces because they fear losing the Clone wars. Further complicating this situation is the presence of "Others" in the alternate reality, who share no loyalties with either Jedi or Sith. It would seem that all manner of creatures can reach the forgotten Academy and their motives remain unknown.
Whoever controls the central chamber of the Lost Acadamey, controls it for their side of the force and will be able to develop a story line from there. But opposing factions can attack at any time! Fortunately, it appears that if one should perish in the alternate dimension, they return to their original body, rather than becoming one with the force. (albeit exhausted and drained of energy)
Will this strange place hold the greatest secrets of the force? Or will it become a death trap to all who should enter its halls?! Only you can decide!
Rules:
You may be a Jedi, Sith or any of their allies. (Clone trooper, droids, wookies, etc)
If you are unable to use the force then you will need to have a non player character send you back and forth between dimensions.
You can talk to main cannon characters (like Yoda and count Dooku) but they cannot go to the other dimension.
The "Others" represent random enemies and can be described and controlled by anyone in order to make things more interesting.
If you fight another player then hits will not land automatically. Try to remember that if you die in the other reality, you can still come back after resting.
On each trip to the alternate dimension, you may bring 1-2 non player characters to assist you, but keep in mind that even a Jedi master would have trouble transporting more than 2 people at once.
