Starter Pics? (seriously, look)

At this point, I'm not going to trust anything, but I treat all the genuine-sounding (though confliciting) information I have heard so far with a cautious, "ready-to-accept-it's-true" attitude.

... its very, weird.

You, know, I can't tell if its real or not. You are right that they look like P/D/F but they also don't seem to fit the names you discovered (or posted about first here). Maybe those (names) are for different pokemon.

They look cool... but this is shocking. The dark one looks like they could turn it into part plant in the end/middle, and I guess same goes for others (with the kangaroo/wallaby being part water, and the triceratops being part fire)

I'm just shocked...

Nice find, fake or real... but I don't know if there is anyway to confirm this right now!
//edit
(yeah, the thing that makes it most believable is that they designed it to look exactly like a Gamefreak release, with Suigmori's style image, and it looks like its a premere image because of the copyright... though unclear copyright... at the bottom, and the DP logo at the top the way they've been doing it.)
I should add though, that japanese fans are hardcore enough to do a fake like this though.

You know, I see how the dark one can look like a penguin... and a monkey. It reminds me of a monkey that was considered bad-luck by the peoples.. Maybe a lemur...

They also fit the eye style they unintionally make in pokemon games, where one of the starters is the odd man out of styles (For RBY, it was only in the orignial art and not the tv because they changed the way charmander and squirtle's eyes look).

If they are real, I really have to see their evos...

You know, another thing that makes it believable is the image size. If it was made for the internet the image would be large, in the reasoning for the cover of Coro Coro to be small for the last reveal was because that was made for cataloging and not showing the pokemon. This looks like it was designed for a website to promote the game. If it was a magazine scan and really small you'd know instantly it was a fake, but the size of this image implies its for internet.
Still can be faked, but seems real to me.

That link scares me. Mostly because there are no pictures, and if you wait a little bit, you're sent to a Japanese (I assume) blogsite.

If they are real, that Kangaroo is totally being the one I'll start off with when I get D/P X3
If they aren't real...well...I think by the end of September we'll probably have enough fake Pokémon to make a whole new game or something at the rate they're coming out XD

Looking at the bigger version someone posted...the copyright info just seems out of place, possibly pasted on so I am unsure

They look odd, but doggone it if I can't tell it's fake, either. I still don't trust them, though. They don't match the D/P site silhouettes, either. If they are fake, then these are the best fakes yet, and if they are real, then o.o.

A sudden thought came to me: what if they are using two sets of starters? It could be a bit wild, but not impossible. Given that there has been some major changes to many elements of the games, I don't think this is entirely out of the realam of possibility. They might have wanted to experiment with a P/D/F (psychic dark fighting) concept, but is still keeping the G/W/F (grass water fire) as some kind of "backup".

It could be interesting on how they are going to implement this if my prediction comes true.

I guess the starters will appear on a giant-sized image for each one, not all together in such a tiny image. It is to be observed that no new Coro Coro issue or official website update can be used as a source, and anything new today should only appear the way Rozureido and Korobooshi did, since there was another Jungle event yesterday. Anyway, how can the starters appear on a tinier image than Cherimu & Co.?

They are the most acceptable fakes by this time, though.

PD: Karimasu imageboard has been updated with a better image of these three, along with the silhouettes of the other-wannabe starters.

^^^ Well, reason for that would be if it was on a smaller website, like made Pokemon.co.jp's portal site and the Yahoo Japan ones aren't found yet. I think it would be believable for there to be a small image like that used as a link for something on that site (or a site like it)

the thing I don't like is the kangaroo looks like its designed like they could turn it into lucario if they wanted to..

I will say that the main thing that bugs me about this is the image resolution. It implies that it was blown-up even the original.

Copy and paste the link, GrnMrvl13.

Also, cute creatures. I'm fond of the Koala-like thingie! Not sure if they're fake or real, but I like them.

Edit: looking at the bigger image, like Serebii said, the copyright text does look very suspicious. Like it was pasted and badly pasted at that. :/

According to translations, they know the silihettes are fake, but are puzzled by this. That means if it is a fake, it is well covered up.

Maybe it's not fake. Maybe they are real images. But not of the Pokémon we think they are. These look nothing like Fire/Water/Grass. Yes, it does look like Psychic/Dark/Fighting though.

Hey, who knows, perhaps there are two sets of three starters.

Eh, if they're real, cool, if they're fake, nothing new.

They're really cute though! ^^ *cuddles*

I hope they're not fake, this time of the month always makes me unruly, and getting my hopes up and being let down is making me super unruly!

I hope they're real...

I've liked all the fake starters so far...

The left starter looks familliar somewhat.....

Hah, that's funny, it does.

And it looks like Iveechan may get a topsian Pokémon.

I wonder just what the Dark one is based on. Cat-koala?
